I hope the game doesnt become focused on mods.

I dont want to have to go download all these mods n shit. Theyve done good at incorporating the useful ones into the game already.

And I don't think it will, Couch. Mod support is what gives games a permanent fan-following (although minecraft may have achieved this without it). Think of all of the mods out there for half-life.

Yea but I don't want the game to stray too far from it's core. Which is why, as neat as the rpg-influenced potions and enchants are, im worried.

ya i like playin games how theyre meant to be played it feels like a solid experience and when u say ur playin minecraft ur playin MINECRAFT not some weird hacked out version of it with like big head mode or some stupid thing like that or likea mod that make mining happen instnatly

i just wish theyd add the mods into the game that are super awesome and should obviously be in the game 4 every1 no matter what

the such as the birds mod and ogres (in caves as bosses) and big ruins etc etc theres some stuff that just naturally should be in the game

the jeb news is awesome because notch is a fat stupid lazy bastard and he belongs doing something else because he has ADD and hes psycho and a control freak and he needs to let it go and let some1 who actually is passionate abot the game and doesnt go on vacation every 3 days finish it

also i still believe really strongly that they shoulda put a TEAM to work on the game from along time ago they could still do it and it would make minecraft 1000x better and fasterly done

thats what i think about that so whatever i guess

I've spotted another nether stronghold (blazes only spawn in strongholds, right? - well, I spotted three blazes) conveniently located below my rail. Coords are -950, 440 (height is probably around 75), if anyone wants to check it out.

Also, I've built a 50-long drawbridge in mountainland, so if anyone wants to build in a nice hilly spot, go there.
