ALSO i payed 20 dollars for mine craft and now its up to 26 dollars since its out even tho maybe only 15% of the things notch promised arent in the game because of this vacation stuff and just generally not being a passionate game creator which is just a basic truth its not some kind of waa notch owes me thing get over it.

this game cost you less than a coupla beers. i have no doubt that you have spent more hours than pretty much any other game playing it - i have, and most other minecraft players have as well.

when you signed up, you signed up to an ALPHA or a BETA and accepted that all features were subject to change, some features might take a long time to happen, and some features might never happen. WHEN YOU PAID YOUR SMALL AMOUNT OF $$$ THIS IS WHAT YOU SIGNED UP FOR. it's the nature of software development.

notch owes you nothing. you helped fund something that he thought was interesting. so did i. i'm happy with the outcome. you're not. the difference is you don't have any right to complain. it was a work in progress when you paid, and if you don't understand that, you don't understand minecraft. he owes you absolutely nothing. you have got an absolute shitload of enjoyment out of the game.

just because he STARTED making minecraft doesnt mean anything any1 who knows java can slap infiniminer and dwarf fortress together and make a randomly generated world but NOT anyone can make a game of greatness that truly lives up to the original idea which DESERVES the greatness. my only point is that notch is not the person to make minecraft what it deserves 2 be because its a great idea and the idea is something notch cant live up to and it belongs in the hands of a true artist which hopefully is what happened when notch took another vacation.

ALSO i didnt say im not happy with minecraft. if i wasnt happy why would i still be playing it like SO MUCH !?? its a friggin awesome game but that doesnt make any difference about any of the stuff im saying whether i like it or not. i think there are some terrible choices in the developement and they should be recognized as the problems they are instead of just O NOTCH MADE THE GAME SO GIVE HIM A BREAK. he deserves the criticism he gets (not all of it but a lot of it) and thats all i have to say about that take it or leave it i couldnt give a darn

lol i didnt say i knew about java BUT IF I DID ..... he spent like 10 yrs making little java games and mincraft was 1 of those because he has ADD and cant stay on 1 project for a long time and he gets tired and bored of it which is why minecraft is like a nightmare 4 him and why he does so many vacations.
