I have a idea or rather vision for a future watmm super-project. Here goes:

 

You dig a corridor 60-100 wide, at least 400 long and say going around 40+ in depth. Taking care you don't start in the direction of any oceans, yes? Ok, then build huge pillars, double rowed at least 10 blocks wide with bases at least 8 blocks tall. The style is up to debate. So you have these huge towering colums in two rows, right, THEN at their bottom you begin making little shops again, but it should look like a bazaar, a open market. And all temporal construction should be made of wood, while the pillars from burned cobble.

 

Can you imagine the awesomeness and general atmosphere of that? I'd love to see this happen.

Well the one I'm making has used like 10 double chests of cobblestone alone. I can't begin to imagine how much your build would take. Though if could be possible if say, everybody on the server built just 2 or 3 pillars. Edited December 15, 2011 by couch

They could be hollow maybe? Or is that just pussy in me talking.

Mine were filled with dirt in any block that wouldn't be openly visible. And the main part of the columns are just 2x2. And it still took that much. o.o

 

But there's also the stone floor underneath the entire structure too.

 

 

Kokoon could just dig another sphere and we'd have enough cobble. lol
