Be careful walking around in there. The surrounding area spawns mobs since it's mostly undeveloped.

i'm going to build a big wooden circular structure really high above the area between the lava and water houses. i have a question about altitude though, can you plant trees and have them go above the highest block? Or will the leaves stop at that maximum altitude?

leaves will stop at the max altitude, i think.

also, if you wanna get grass up there you'll need to make a dirt bridge to an existing grass block and grow it over there.

The Gobble shop is fueling it right now and I've gone through 3 double chests of gobble so far.

 

 

From the surface I'm multitasking by planting/chopping trees for charcoal while breeding the sheep while also cooking the stone with said charcoal.

 

Gotta go on a glowstone expedition soon. Should be able to get enough in one long trip.

 

Then go branch mining for lapis. Which might take a while. I want to try for a better fortune pick first.

 

And maybe one more clay expedition. I got about 20 stacks of clay blocks on my last trip and it might not be enough. The roof will be brick slabs.

there's a bunch of lapis in my house too (or is it spence's house now? i don't know anymore lol) go take it.

I've seen a couple of skeletons riding spiders but never a pigman in the overworld.

soo, i dunno how it came about but when i went to minecon i met the guys that do the Shaft podcast about "All Things Minecraft" they gave me a shout out on the show which i didn't find out till i guy who i met at minecon through reddit told me about it. and sure enough they did! i tweeted the @TheShaftPodcast and eric fullerton hit me up and followed me, we started exchanging messages and he asked if i wanted to do a remix of his song minecraft universe, and that's what i'm working on right now
