From Murveton head out on the 'Forest of the Mundane' rail, the cave is a bit past the log cabin, as shown on the flyer.

 

 

 

Please wait for everyone to assemble before entering the cave so that we can all maraud in one big marauding mob

 

Once we start exploring though, it might make sense to split into smaller groups

 

Bring tools, weapons, torches, food, and maybe a bed to reset spawn point.

 

If you're there early, maybe build a base of operations near the cave so that everyone has somewhere to put their beds.

take the 'forest of the mundane' rail from Murveton. Co-ords are x 389 z 1636 (thats rthe cave entrance)

was fun found some kind of mega ravine and 5 diamonds

Well that was a big cave complex, with at least 3 underground ravines.

5 to 7 of us were in there for 90 minutes, it was very chaotic

Huge ravine number 1

(this is around x 294, z 1747)

Various people fell to their deaths in this ravine and I spent a lot of time picking up their stuff and putting it in chests

Meanwhile Murve and ShizKoe and finding multiple spawners in another ravine nearby

I headed over to the second ravine, "Ravine of spawniness", but was on my own when I got there.

This zombie wouldn't die now matter how many times I hit him.

Eventually I realised that was because I was hitting him with a spade.

Ravine of Spawniness is at x349 z1835

Eventually Adam, Murve and Shiz turned up

Someone set fire to the wood that the Enderman was standing on

He made a lot of noise but eventually seemed to put out the fire.

So then murve hit him with a sword.

Soon after that me and Murve found a third ravine at x361 z1881. Or maybe another part of the other ravine?

There was lava and water in the bottom of it. I started to tunnel into the roof but fell into the lava.

I respawned in the ocean because the way we had arranged the beds meant that respawning wouldn't work.

On my way back to the cave now via Murveton to put up some signs and build access tunnels to the ravines, although people may have done that already

I have an access tunnel to the ravine, but it's in the middle of nowhere. I can see a small wooden something-rather from the top of the mountain, but haven't investigated what it is.

Found it, its not that far from the rail, its just that the rail is under the mountain at that point. From your access tunnel you can just see the glass roof of the rail tunnel (the same glass roof shown on the flyer, above). X = 405 Z=1770, y=quite high up.

I went in, found the ravine, got hit off a bridge by something and burned in lava again.

I wish somebody would help me installing the Water Shader mod the tutorials are not really helping.

im pretty sure if you updated to 1.1, you can't install the mod until the mod gets updated.

Most of the trees and animals are gone now so its quite hard to survive as a noob, although you do get 20 mins pvp protection. And sometimes people at spawn give you food.

I just died but if you you're going onto hcsmp and PM me I can give you the co-ords of an underground wheat farm I was working on

Hope everyone is well, I'm really happy my house and stuff is still around. Couch said my animals got loose cause of my fences, I think I'll put them underground!

I re-played Minecraft the last past days and discovered the new features and I think it's awesome. Actually, when I first saw Minecraft I immediately think about a team pvp type of game with a precise goal (like a capture the flag game actually), and seeing what they brought with enchantments, potions and all that stuff is definitely going in that direction.

I'm dreaming of a 20 players versus 20 players game where each team start from scratch and have to organize to produce weapons and various items in order to make war to the opposite camp and to get there by any mean. Digging giant tunnels, using nether portals. That would be awesome to build a strategy where some players go mining while some other begin to construct some defence. Like a strategic game actually. I can't wait to see that type of games.

There's an inconspiciuous cave, so sail right into it.

Oh, just missed you. Officially I was dead but they let me back on cos it turned out I'd been killed by hackers with xray (I didn't event have to tell them, they figured it out themselves).
