Tried the Alpha today. Cool game, I can't get it to stop leaking memory though. Went OOM on my Linux system and started hanging/swapping way too much on my friends Macbook. Too bad he didn't make it in C# or something.

like a couple of you guys, i have spent countless hours yesterday hunting and gathering only to find residency in a mountain that had lava spewing from it because i figured it would be baller to have a lava pond and you could see at night, but then the lava kind of just disappeared. this game is hella fun

Most of it is work in progress as I get sick of working on one thing for too long so I work on something else for a bit.. The house needs the loft put in, the greenhouse hasn't been maintained in a while. The castle took me ages so I'm having a break from that. Currently I'm levelling the hill outside the front door, I've been taking ages making things around the house flat as possible for a road.

Check out my mine in the basement, it's a little treacherous at places and fucking huge.

i have not gotten any sleep yet, i made a fucking tripled stack tree toped with a lava fountain which is bridged to my house which is inside a mountain.

i made my floor glas with a lava fountain undernieth, will post later

agreed, there is a huuuuge structure under this. also, next cave over has some fucking epic shit, naturally. writing this sort of utility is harder than it appears, i reckon.

I don't understand the 0-128 section, when I try to use it I either get black or static. Is it horizontal strata or top-down cores? Would be helpful if the generated maps had grid lines on them so you knew which section to zoom into...

I've been ignoring this thread for a while now. I had no idea what I was in for when I clicked on it.

I solemnly vow not to touch this game until some form of competitive/collaborative multiplayer becomes viable. At that point it will be too enticing to resist. Until then I'm just gonna sit on the sidelines and dream about the day I willfully throw my life away for a computer game.

i haven't played this for around a week...nice

went exploring and found so many incredible natural structures and cave systems, also a dungeon in a natural cave in a mountain quite high up. had both records in the chest (been wanting the green record for ages so I'm very happy about that. it's quite idm.)

I recently went nomading in survival mode after gaining confidence in my ability to stay alive through the night. I found a sweet cave with riches I cherished. Then an exploding zombie came out of nowhere, blew me to bits.

I wish this game had a proper tutorial, it took me ages to realise you could select items in your inventory with the number buttons!

Finally decided I'm going to make a nice wooden beachhut, with a huge mine underneath. better get some resources together!
