William Basinski was mentioned in one of their interviews and he has a similar nostalgic vibe found in The Disintegration Loop, albeit accidental.. they are slow loops of music he made on tape that were abandoned, later uncovered after the magnetic tape began to deteriorate. definitely melancholic as the sounds begins to fall apart

I think its just me but the Forest Swords Daggers Path reminds me of BoC. Don't ask me why, it just does. Perhaps because of the dark, wickerman atmospherics lurking behind the guitars.
