I think I'm intelligent, but I'm really not.

:whistling:

hey what did i do!?

I'm confused what made the people in Cairo so convinced, when they were duped yesterday

edit: i guess what im not finding out from reading this news, is how was the message of Mubarak actually stepping down spread? Yesterday it was a televised speech, did he do a new speech today or something? Most of the media reports aren't going farther than 'word spread Mubarak stepped down among the protestors'

and is the surrogate president really Omar Suleiman? The person in charge of the USA's rendition/torture program taking over Egypt seems great for us, but not so great for the Egyptians

Well played Egypt, well played....

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Suleiman is not in control. The combined generals of Egypt's armed forces are in charge in the interim. This was announced by Suleiman in a speech yesterday afternoon. I thought you were supposed to be well-informed?

Anyway, next stop Riyadh if there's any justice in this world.

it's still a US guy in control (as are all the generals, don't be naive) . Whether they now transition to 'free and fair' elections, or just use this interim posting to defuse the protesting. Remains to be seen.

What I want to know is what the Egyptian Generals said to Mubarak to make him change his mind overnight.

edit: Also it's just a tad naive to believe that the guy who was in charge of Egypt's national intelligence agency for 18 years isn't going to have any say in what the military regime does...

Yes, I could try to go in depth here as to why I posted both those statements but I can't be bothered, let's conclude. Democracy: it's not easy when you don't know how.
