whoa. looks too heavy for warm weather but definitely going on my short list for fall. I love chocolate stouts.

maybe I'll have to check it out sooner then...but I don't recall seeing that around here.

young's chocolate stout is like guinness on crack. i'm pretty sure a bottle is about the same as eating approximately three big macs though.

young's is delicious, especially on tap. it's definitely a winter beer for me though.

had this the other night:

really tasty dark brown ale

this too:

tasted kind of like a cordial/liqueur. i liked it though, it'd be a good drink for after a meal.

also, just found out brooklyn lager comes in a pint can. i'm probably going to order a full pallet for the summer.

more beer needs to come in cooler bottles.

big fan of red stripe, hard to get here though. i used drink a lot of it in holland.

PROTIP: the supermarket in schiphol airport had all the multinational beer in the fucking world when i lived there and had to pass through there every day on the way to work.

that turbodog looks fuckin tasty.

yeah, i definitely recommend the turbo dog, it's nice and dark for a brown. abita's a good brewery all around, their jackamo ipa is the fucking shiiet. one of my favorite ipa's.

redstripe is nice as well. the bottles are like glass grenades, great for throwing if you have a nice throwing tree out back :whistling:

kind of like these:

am i the only person that finds newcastle ale to be disgusting? or at the very least incredibly disappointing ( especially considering the price tag)

I can drink Mickey's 40s up until the last quarter. Somehow, it gets real warm, foamy and extra gross towards the end.

Anyway, I'm about to bottle the IPA my roommate and I brewed a few weeks back. I'll be having the Nectarine Wheat Ale by Lost Coast Brewery:

It's a fruit beer, but doesn't have too much of the fruit flavor. Real smooth.

I used to love Newcastle, but ever since I learned they use isinglass in their filtering process, I haven't drank it.

isinglass?

that fruit ale sounds fantastic.

im an abbey ale man.

St. Bernardus...check it...you wont regret it.

Newcastle is much better on tap than bottled-- those fucking clear bottles. Who does that? Skunks in about 30 seconds and tastes horrible.

As a beer, the draught is just "ok" -- better than Heineken or sommat for your Summer thirst quenching beer needs. I wouldn't really ask for it unless the other choices were Bud or something, and often those are really the only choices given.

Which brings me to:

I'm currently polishing this off from a Memorial Day party. 10 or so pints for pretty cheep and a lot less hassle than opening bottles for everyone. Lasts a good while and it's real draught tasty, with just as much head a few days after opening. This Draughtkeg needs to catch on-- works much better than other mini kegs I've used in the past.

Anyway, as much as I'd like to be the beersnob and say Newcastle's beneath me: would totally buy again.

how dem farts Iain?

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.
