I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

Dubstep crossed over to the meatheads a couple years ago. Not surprising at all.

Borgore was playing metal in his sets ages ago, it was amusing to see a parting of the red sea with all the moshers at the front head banging and all the baseball caps n' high heels dollys at the back with frowns although he did mix tunes that crossed over quite well I got the feeling he was taking the piss out of his audience and rightly so.

As an old dub DJ mate of mine told me "this isn't the shit I started out on".

So wtf are Korn going to play on stage to this? iPads with gothic UI's or something?

Guest Wall Bird

Oh, it's not that bad. Does anyone really expect Korn to stick to the same sound for their entire career?

I might as well be the dissenting voice in this thread because it's already shaping up into an attack on their fans and not the band itself. I happen to think Korn were one of the more unique metal bands to exist during their heyday. They still may be. If anything that sample may be proof of the mentality that sets them apart.

Then again, I've been out of the loop and have no idea what Korn have been up to for the last eight or so years, so perhaps this combination of metal and dubstep isn't such a novel combination in the context of contemporary music.

i was honestly hoping "RIP Dubstep" was the title

me too.

Also, why is it that the tag "dubstep" is casually slapped on everything these days. What the hell does James Blake have to do with Dubstep?!

I don't like dubstep at all
