Exact same thing happened to my mom last month, they even thought she was "Alina".  She texted the person back for 3 days just chatting and the person eventually asked for my mom's name, address, and other personal details.  That's when my mom just mentioned this in passing and I kinda freaked out a little on her.

Edit:  you're free to try and waste their time if you want, but 100% it's phishing.

Hah! Good times. Glad you caught your mom before she got scammed. I obviously don't give any personal info beyond my first name online; I'm traceable but not particularly exploitable.

Fucking hell, I hate other people’s children. 

I had a cold over two weeks ago, and this fucking cough keeps coming back every night ever since.  Really annoying.  It was probably the worst it's ever been 3 night ago.  What is this shit?  The cold itself was pretty mild, but usually when a cold clears up, it clears up completely.  I'm not used to this residual cough crap.  Anyone else get this?

Why is it so hard to find accurate lyrics online? Some idiot uploads wrong lyrics one day and somehow it becomes the only result you can find across multiple sites. When artists never officially print/publish their lyrics it always comes to this. Then the wrong lyrics end up in all kinds of other places (like unofficial karaoke videos for example). The incorrect lyric is always something stupid and you know it can't be right but an official source is nowhere to be found. This happens often enough that it warrants a sfwp post. Artists: if your music contains words then publish that shit somewhere!

I've encountered the above problem many a time, and have gone on more than my fair share of lyric correcting rampages.

This is such a quintessential tech phenomenon. They create websites for lyrics to every song, even if the lyrics are completely fucking wrong. It’s seen as better to have the tech than not to have it, even if it doesn’t do the thing it’s meant to do.
