One of my lesser used current accounts (it's with Halifax by the way) has a thing that when you go into your overdraft they charge you £5 per day. I had an overdraft with them, or so I thought. Turns out I didn't and the other month it went into overdraft for 10 days. That's £50!!!!

 

Well, sold some stuff, old ps3 games etc and I've got £260 in there at the moment and I was going to put it towards a new turntable. Thing is it's been a month and a half and the charges haven't been taken off although I got a letter at the time. I want to spend it but I can't risk it taking money out if it goes into another overdraft. CUNTS!!!

 

 

So Im living in a new place far from home for my doctoral studies/teaching job, and I noticed the person next to me was in the process of moving in. I noticed he was Korean (he had tons of Nong Shim ramen boxes outside and K-pop blaring through the window). I was excited to meet the guy, so I walked up, said hello, and asked if he needed any help with the boxes. He must have shot me the dirtiest look on earth and gruffly said "No."

 

So much for communal bonding. There's a huge Korean community in this area, but apparently there is no interest to communicate. I did however meet another person in the next building over who is a Chinese professor from Taiwan, real cool guy it would seem.

 

 

But damn, I was really looking to practice my Korean.

I read that neither vitamin C nor excessive drinking of fluids actually helps with colds, but who knows how accurate the article was. I'm drinking hot drinks anyway since it brings my throat temporary relief. That, lying around, and halls lozenges.

i hate it when i go to piss in the unisex and someone has lost control of their whizzer and watered the seat. then i feel obligated to wipe it, to avoid incident; to avoid being wrongly accused by the next in line who invariable will be a beautiful women, who knows me, if u don't.

So it's ALL positive, I guess. Except my wife is mad. =(
