I'm sure I read somewhere that you have a home region but are able to play on any you wish so you can hook up with friends, unlike starcraft where you are locked, I'll look into it!

Yea took the day off tomorrow since it is my friends bday. Gonna be a long night...

been playing roughly 3 hours now, damn this shit is fun, geeking out hardcore.

4 hours till go time here. A group of us are meeting up tonight and blasting the PA while we marathon it through regular mode.

envy! man i miss marathon gaming nights with mates, my friends had to go and get lives and wives and babies and shit, pfft lol

well into act 3 on my monk, shedloads of fun, how is everyone getting on, i hear the US had a lot of issues :/

im having way too much fun with this game when i should be doing other things. servers shut down for an update as i reached act 2 just now.

haha thats why im on here, down for maintenance, ive only had 3 hours sleep since launch :S

Its been pretty unplayable on the US servers, I'm frustrated, still in act 1.

I figure this thread is boring because everyone is enjoying the game. I envy you.

I actually took the day off yesterday to play the game, but I only got to play for about 3 hours total. Hopefully I'll have a better time this weekend.

I'm playing a monk, its challenging but tons of fun, especially once I descovered shift clicking.

I was talking to someone about the unplayability today and they said they just joined on the EU servers.

I don't have the game yet so I don't actually know

Yeah I could play on an EU server, but I can't use the same character or share between them. Basically a different set of characters per region.

Blizzard actually recommended this on there CS twitter this morning for people in NA.

Honestly, they've executed this really well (minus the shit server problems, and apparently the achievement issues). I played Path of Exile, which I think is really awesome as well, especially for an indie game..but this is just epic. Super duper epic.

I wish there were more knuckle drops that were decent. I have had one rare drop, but I can't craft any decent ones yet, so I am using a Bo. It's dope though, no real complaints.

i can't stop prioritizing gear that has +chance of finding magic items on them, because epic loot. probably not a smart idea for later in the game though since right now im sacrificing stuff like strength and vitality (playing barbarian) just for 60% on magic find.

Is there any real advantages to using knuckles instead of swords or whatever? I've been duel wielding combinations of things lately just to max out the stats.

I think the main bonus you get to using Knuckles is attack speed, especially with left click abilities. Overall, I've found that a Bo provides more damage, thus more survivability. I've got a lot of items currently that give a percentage of life back when I use spirit, and some life leech type items. I am co-oping with a wizard, so I find myself right in the middle of shit using cyclone a lot, and using my heal ability. I was using swords for a while, but I like the idea of using Monk-like weapons, as it ups the nerd boner immersion quite a bit. I thought the knuckles would be better for monk, as they are typically unarmed in games like D&D etc, but I don't find them to be as fun just yet.

The increased attack speed also helps because there are attacks where the nth attack in a series has an extra effect like knockback or aoe. I'm using knuckles and a shield on my monk at the moment. Thankfully, difficulty seems to have gone a bit up in act 2. Although maybe that's because I prioritized magic find on all my armor in act 1.

I'm having a lot of fun so far. Europe servers seem mostly stable. Got one disconnect that set me back a bit and a bit of lag here and there but it's mostly smooth.

Finished regular mode in about 14 hours...Way easy, but we back tracked to get a friend up to speed so we all finished over 30.

Couple thoughts and WTFs:

Triangle Head sub-boss in act 4?

Diablo saying "I AM LEGION" before you fight him lol?
