this reaaaaally doesn't look like xbox360 graphics, i guess they're learned their lessons from the horrible gta 4 porting and are making a really nice pc version, or it's made for a new console generation

Yes it does. Look at the full size pictures. http://www.rockstargames.com/V/ Same aliasing as GTA IV, low-res textures, some ugly shadow dithering and no anisotropic texture filtering, LOD doesn't seem different from GTA IV (look at the far mountains in parachute shot.) Also no SSAO, tesselation or other fancy new graphics stuff.

It looks beautiful, but there's nothing about them that is impossible on current gen console hardware.

hmm yes i do notice it more now that you mentioned it, the cheeta is very jaggy and the asphalt textures are crap..

shadows look ok to me though, they very extremely ugly on pc verion of gta 4 i remember.

I don't feel excited with videogames anymore, and haven't played for years, but if i have the chance i will try this new GTA, in a local store or something like that.

Back in the days, before highschool, a new GTA would excite me like no other thing (including the ladies), and it is still the only game within its genre that keeps that perfectly balanced formula that makes you want to play it everyday, and still get a differente experience. i have always loved that sense of absolute freedom, which doesn't necessarily tends to start going on a killing spree, but rather a long drive or a sport. It's great how GTA has kept its formula for so many editions, only improving graphics and adding stuff, without get tiring. It's also one of the best multiplayer games, when it is not even designed for multiplayer. GTAIV was the first to have this option, but i remember playing Vice City with my friends and it was so much better than all the other multiplayer games.

San Andreas is my all-time favoritte game. Can't think of another game I've spent so much time with. I think when it came out, I played it for 2 days straight (pathetic, I know).

So my expectations for V are almost unrealistically high.

Im not too concerned about the graphics because i don't think anyone goes to play a gta game for the graphics

im 2 hours into gta4 and the driving is weird as fuck but it seems awesome. gta is awesome. this willl be awesome

that's a good observation but the magazines would be removed before the arrest.. so she might be being arrested for stealing (or doing) something else but also stole magazines edit: stole a brush, iphone and an asthma inhaler
