I recommend watching a documentary about animals. Nice jungle ones, like bbc documentaries. It shows you how absurd human constructs are in lots of ways and might settle you (both) a bit.

Look, when I was a kid, the neighbor's daughter used to dress up her dog in baby clothes and sit it down at the table etc. It actually ended up making the dog mental, but it didn't make it a human. Some people (mostly women) continue to do this to others - even taking it to marriage - ignoring all the signs that some shit ain't right. It must suck to be sure but...well I have nothing more to add, I'll just come off as more of a dick.

I didn't start this thread to convince people of anything, and I'm not about to post a picture of me smiling, giving a thumbs up while looking at gay porn and my wife cries in the background. This has been the most devastating thing I could have done to her, and all my observances of social convention are useless now. I've taken her life, her vows, her love, and her name, and now we are both without history. I don't know who wouldn't be at least a little suicidal after that.
