Metal was never popular like dubstep is. It still isn't. Fuck off Korn. They are just trying to latch onto the newest fad to try and become a relevant band again since they don't have TRL to promote themselves with anymore.

How old are you? 15? 16?

Borgore was the first dubstep DJ to blend metal aesthetics into his sets which split the crowd quite literally (and amusingly) into two however the similarities of the 'chug-a-chug' metal and 'woh-woh-woh' dubstep he was mixing together was quite apparent to the more open minded and he was a big metal head well before the dubstep band wagon came along.

Saying that the kind of dubstep Borgore plays is the type furthest from 'dub' as such.

There's also Distance. But I think of him more as a bandwagon hopper, he just did it long ago.

Korn was birthed eighteen years ago. That said, if Korn was a person, Korn would be able to vote. Who would Korn vote for in the upcoming presidential election?

I’m just waiting for a non-Illuminati candidate to run.

distance is awesome, and he's actually influenced by korn. if anyone they should have gotten him to produce or remix for them.

overall i would venture to say that metal is still more "popular" than dubstep.

dubstep is just a phase, metal has been here to stay for over 40 years. i will change my mind if skrillex is to 2050 kids discovering electronic music as 1970 sabbath is to kids discovering metal today.

lol skrillex wouldnt have been the one to introduce people to electronic music in 2050.. he's late to the game. now aphex twin on the other hand..
