have the set completed. having listened to me all, i think Rose is best one. ripped them to mp3, listened on my ipod in bed at night,

and Rose still sends the adrenaline rush to my brain more than the other parts. then, i fall asleep.

but its all good, too fucking expensive though. the first 2 parts were over priced by £10, then the 12s by £2, i mean 1 colour black sleeves.

no inner bags, 1 colour vinyl labels. i ain't stupid, plus it came right from the source on boomkat. just does not add up. hopefully

Miles will now have lots of dough to buy his £300 records or £1,000 records. Don't lose the run of yourselves is all i can advise.

Rushing through the whole set was a interesting experience. They really went away from the more washed out sound at the tryptych to a more defined and refined beat-heavy edit of themself. The second and third part are wonderful, with a strong bass underneath the sheets of music and samples. I should listen on 16rpm to them.

Yep, really pricey the whole set. I wondered about the pricetag of the last two parts too.

yes thats exactly it, was frightening too underneath my bed sheets! part 1 takes you in and peaks at part 3 then brings you down and out at part 4.

hypnotic and scary experience, but i like it. i think i chose part 3 as it can be taken in on its own, but hearing all 4 together is the magic of course.

The whole thing was mastered and cutted by D&M in Berlin and I think they done an excellent job. Hence it was all pressed on coloured vinyl- I never heard such a clear pressing for this format since colour vinyl is more hissy than black.

The bass on the part 3 is really awesome. Loud and clear as you can expect a good balanced master.

I really look forward the CD edition which will have alternate versions of the whole project. What I like is their new approach toward a more rhythm-oriented soundscape.

The tracklisting for the 2CD version finally seems to be dribbling onto the interwebs.

Yes indeed. Not bad really, all things considered. Certainly on a par with the bonus material that surfaced on the Tryptych 3CD set.

Really nice to listen to the final tracks already. I really look forward the disc edition. For all those who do not want to spend a lot of money on wax this is a fair deal.

The packaging for Tryptych was nice, and I was pleased with the bonus material. Will be picking this up for sure.

holy shit, unction is like if you made someone who had no idea of what dubstep was assemble a dubstep track out of the components. it's fantastic.

So is anybody else's Iris a dark kinda transparentish marble blue? I figured it would be more of opaque lighter colored blue that would match the other discs more, but no.

No, it's definitely meant to be that dark, marbled blue colour. The first two have pretty much no transparency at all, Rose and Iris are both slightly opaque. Gorgeous colours on those last two. :)

lol at the really convincing/good looking CGI trick boomkat uses to show the live products hanging out in a blank white room with no edges

SO right. Rose far and away the best. Listening to B side at 33, and it's pretty great that way too.

Damn it, can't resist. These guys are making me poor.

I made a video for Erosion of Mediocrity. (nsfw)
