The Last Panthers.

Very good! Dark, mature and contemporary tone on politics, Europe, banditism... Not always on par with the acting though, which was kinda meh, even mediocre on the French side. Awesome scoring by Clark.

old colbert report episodes, considering how many shows they had to churn out the standards are amazingly high. i'm a bit disappointed by his new show - i think its the format's fault though

Making a Murderer didn't really hold my attention, but it sent me on a binge of my old[er] true crime favs:

The Iceman Tapes

Paradise Lost 1-3

The Jinx

All brilliant imhoymmv

I watched that Christmas episode of Sherlock. I thought it was pretty damn good.

It was surprisingly good. I wonder how involved Moffat was with the writing over Mark Gatiss, I detest Moffat's work but I can underestimate him with one-off episodes (as opposed to story arcs). Abominable Bride had less nauseating spiel, and meatier plot. The final waterfall scene was so absurd and jarring, though, I figured he had something to do with it.

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

Lost - a lot more interesting than expected, but now with 5 episodes left in S6, preparing for a meh conclusion.

S5 was fav imo, liked the timetravel things and the chopper pilot

There is an epilogue you can find on YouTube that explains what happened to Walt:

I tried watching Life After People, that show based on that book that made a thought experiment of what would happen to the world x years after mankind disappeared but everything else remained. it was too crappily-produced for me to endure. constant dramatic music like on a reality tv show, bad cgi, light on facts, just wank tv.

L O S T: It went full retarded with that time travel shit. Also, most of the episodes use basic stuff to hook the people, so it is really predictable and boring. It is fun, yeah, but overrated as fuck. Also, J.J. has the most punchable face I can imagine of.

^ yes.

the second lost stopped being about lost on an island i completely *lost* interest (get it) this happened like 4 episodes in with a faggy ass smoke monster

Because I'm a complete sucker when they were all in Heaven or whatever hugging I was like, aww that's sweet, cool. Then in the cold light of day I was furious.

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

You're forgetting Evan Peters

I liked the first season of Lost but then it didn't answer anything and just kept piling on more and more shit. after the season 2 finale I basically realised this and quit. I did watch the final scene on youtube though, just out of spite/for the lels. what made it doubly funny was that when all manner of fan theory was being thrown around in the early days of season 1, the actual truth was hit upon by someone who specualted* that they'd all died and were in limbo or whatever, but the creators denied it (because what else could they do, admit it?).

I'm not recommending it because it is kind of a trashy waste of time, but it is actually completely different experience watching it without the wait between episodes and seasons. It actually feels a bit rushed later on but everything ties together and it makes sense that certain mysteries weren't explained earlier on because that would have ruined the entire plot arc. The final episodes, not including the finale, are kinda cool in a.. wow this is fucking weird shit you wouldn't expect to see in a TV show kinda way.

yeah it's doing a lot of weird shit I haven't seen explored in other series, ca. half of characters being either psychopaths or otherwise completely nuts & the show playing with trust & likeability of them etc.

I mean that Ben guy was quite intense at times, and the Locke guy was a good actor imo.

Fav character was the pilot Lapidus, but he was a lot cooler in S5 when he was a chopper pilot with that beard, in S6 he became as meh as everything else.
