I've been wanting to watch American Horror story, is there any season that is much better than the rest? I don't feel like going through all if it.

Don't! I watched 4 seasons until I finally told my girlfriend "no more!". Terrible acting, terrible music, terrible cinematography, stories that lead absolutely nowhere, Evan Peters, and the worst part is that it's not even scary, freaky or disgusting.

The best part of the show is a girl with Down's syndrome.

Alexandra Breckenridge. The only reason to watch season 1. Stop there. (she's unfortnately in the Walking Dead as well. Or, fortunate for those who watch it.)

Evan Peters will send you into a rage the likes you'll never experience before or since.

yep, Brooklyn nine-nine is by far my favorite tv sitcom right now. Its just great!

Ive also been listening to Getting On and its also worth listening.

seriously, dont miss out on those two shows

Brooklyn Nine Nine is my go-to post work slob out since S2 came out on UK Netflix. It doesn't try too hard to be clever or subversive, just an entertaining sitcom. Really enjoy it.

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

Z Nation. By most objective measures, the cinematic quality is low. However, it's very fun. Also it was shot in my area so it's even more fun watching zombies infest all these spots I used to see regularly.

did anyone else stop watching portlandia after the third season? i thought it worked a lot better as a sketch show with little nuggets of unique ideas rather than a character driven show with drawn out plots. i feel like it's really different now, and not in a good way :s

I've not watched the last two seasons I don't think (not entirely sure when I stopped), can't remember it ever being plot based, though it always had recurring characters. It was never amazing to be honest, but occasionally had some great bits.

I'm going to give Peaky Blinders another go after giving it up previous, thanks boredom.

I've been told it's awesome so I'll try again.

:doge: Jet fuel can't melt dank memes :doge:

at first i was excited, but after watching the trailer, it looks very similar to joe d'amato's 1987 classic 11 days 11 nights

there was a noticeable shift from going from a sketch format with multiple plot lines and ideas to more of a standard linear style with only a couple (sometimes only one) of things focused on in each ep. it always featured recurring characters but now the focus is much more heavy on that idea and it's become very plot heavy.

Is portlandia now better or worse? Ive tried to listen to the first couple of season 1 and gave up.

Cult status and music

The broadcast quickly turned into a cult: At raves in the mid-90s it wasn't unusual to show the images of Space Night on big TV-screens. Early in the morning after the rave it was often used to calm down, especially from 1996 and later, as Space Night's sound changed through the musical guidance by Alex Azary (a European chill-out-DJ), who provided a more electronic background music. This was a logical step that originated from Alex Azary. He headed the Club XS in Frankfurt where "chill out nights" started in 1990, supported by spherical music. Alongside, pictures of Space Night were shown, albeit the playback was a little bit slower than in the original program. The images did fit well to the then new music-genre and Alex thought it would be a good idea to show it to the people at BR. A meeting in Munich followed where he could convince them to try something new.

The compositions are also available as separate CDs, the mixdown starting from the album "Space Night II" is done by the German music label Elektrolux. In the meantime, twelve CD-albums with music to the television series have been published, with three of those clearly differing in musical style. While "Space Night Vol. 1" is an album featuring pop music, "Space Night Vol. 10" features Jazz music and "Space Night Vol. 12" is a double CD with classical music. A DVD titled "Best of Earth-Views" is also available.

Hey no probs man. I'm absolutely loving this show; certainly doesn't hurt that the music selection is often top notch and there's prominent spots by cyriak and don hertzfeldt. Amazing series to just let wash over you really

X-Files Premiere last night - So, so, sooo bad.

David Duchovny mailing it in for paycheck/10
