Oh good, I'll watch that then! Just finished BSG for the first time. That ending though... SMH.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

BSG takes a huge shit in the last season & a half, and The Expanse seems to largely be lacking in that kind of writing altogether.

I haven't seen the last two episodes of the Expanse yet, but I've been pretty disappointed with it overall. It's got some good elements, the political shit, the universe they've created, good physics grounding. But it really sucks in terms of writing from a dramatic standpoint, and the acting is pretty shit (both are well below what BSG was capable of). It also looks pretty bad, I guess it kind of looks like what a Babylon 5 budget gets you in 2016, which is obviously better than Babylon 5, but still not amazing, and a lot of the problems could have been fixed (the colour grading is poor, too gloomy and high contrast, for example).

I loved Babylon 5.

Just finishing off season 3 of Hannibal - some of the score is fucking amazing - great ambient stuff.

Babylon 5 was great, the CGI was hilariously bad though.

Yeah that's true - kind of added to the charm though. But the story/universe was amazing.

I'll check out The Expanse - haven't watched a decent SF series in a while.

It's pretty good. One thing re:BSG, in The Expanse they refer to female superiors as "sir" in the same way. At first thought it was just meant to be sarcastic (mildly triggering) but then it happens again more officially onboard Donnager

they call them sir because in the future everyone will be forced to have both dick and boobs to adhere to the gender equality act of 2037

I can't get into any SyFy shows. most recently I tried 12 Monkeys and it was meh.

gripped The Nightmare Worlds of HG Wells, with Ray Winstone as Wells presenting various tales of wtf

no idea what to expect given Mr Winstone's recent degenerate forays into gambling advertising, but Michael Gambon is always worth a watch

The David Fincher directed version of House of Cards has become one of my favorite dramas of all time. Breaking Bad still holds the throne of course. Not sure what else I'd rate even close to that highly for TV drama. Kevin Spacey is so good.

I love House of cards its the best show right now along Homeland. Spacey is amazing ive been listening to his old movies (they are not all good though lol)

House of cards, Sopranos, BBad, six feet under, the wire are all the same quality imo. Sopranos has the throne for me though.

I watched the christmas special of sherlock: beautiful!

Yeah, i remember when Sopranos first came out it really raised the bar. TV dramas were handed a whole new set of parameters. I need to watch it again one of these days.

Also, I watched the Horace and Pete pilot last night and was pretty blown away. I probably laughed more times than I had while watching any episode of Louie (which I was great!). The dialogue was fantastic, as is the casting. And so fucking dark! I'm excited to see where it goes.

I'm finding American Horror Story fairly entertaining, the maid is good.

Edit: Finished the first season, I'm definitely not watching any further. Such bullshit writing. Stay away.
