Watching this too - the book is almost always better, but in this case they're doing a pretty good job so far in terms of an adaptation. Some things have changed, but nothing drastic that would detract from enjoying both the book and the series.

yes. loved episode 2 of 11.22.63. i really liked the character of frank dunning but i found the (kid) bartender very annoying.

I can't believe they are really adding one ep per week though. Really annoying.

This show is actually pretty entertaining IMO. S2 was definitely an improvement on S1.

Yeah, this is great. First episode was odd, thrown right in there, (not too familiar with OJ's story but knew the basics, he's a forgotten man in the Britain). Superb 2nd episode with these absurd characters adjusting to the fact OJ was cruising along the highway in the Bronco with the gun to his head and his bitch AC driving. Schwimmer and Travolta are excellent as the comedy lawyers with divided loyalties. Paulson is intimidating and scary as the DA banking her life on nailing him. Genius when it cut's to the guys in Pizza Hut making the pizza's, they've ran out of cheese and can't get enough delivery guys out.

Very impressed so far.

 

episode 3 was even better. i loved that ending with marcia just giving johnny, shapiro etc the stone face like "yep, we also have a black guy" and right on cue oj goes "where did they get a black guy?"

I was gonna ask if this is any good, the 80s appropriate atmosphere seems legit, and I love spy movies.

People vs OJ - Tried again to watch this show. Can't do it, the show's trying to hard. Also Cuba is not the juice. sorry.

just caught up with vikings s01 - 04.

pretty fun, despite all the weird inaccuracies, like kattegatt (southern sweden / denmark) and uppsala (about an hour north of stockholm) looking like skyrim. i'd go there all the time if that was the case.

also, size zero shield maidens.

i'm embrassed to say i watched the first episode but i won't be making the mistake of watching the second or any other.

Couldn't possibly be wise than the original.

Started watching JourneyQuest on youtube last night. Pretty lolsy, you can tell it's a labor of love.

It's better than I expected I actually kind of enjoy it. But can someone that looks like Paul Rust even be that character? I have my doubts, as shallow as it may seem. Passing up that threesome because they were sisters was a straight up plot hole fam

I enjoyed Mark Romanek's episode of Vinyl, the whole murder plot sees to be developing, and they confirmed it was Kool Herc who was spinning at that block party, who knows if Richie or anyone will see the impending hip hop movement. Probably not.

watched the first two 11.22.63s last night, pretty good.

the return of Gotham was great; Victor & Nora Fries, Hugo Strange, tying Indian Hill to Arkham. and no Bruce in sight for once. I have seen pics of Freeze and of course his character evolves, from the classic looking Mr Freeze with goggles, to the more well known cryogenic suit wearing variant. The Victor/Nora tragic romance is one of the best stories in the Batman universe.

i stopped watching 11.22.63 after last night's episode. i realized that premise is just not going to work, and the annoying "brother" just made it unwatchable for me
