When I saw this LP sitting @ a local record store for ~$10-12 or thereabouts, I literally jumped up in the air and screamed HELL YEAH because this LP is arguably the greatest album in the history of white-hop. In fact, I need to go P2P this sonovabitch so I can bump it on the way home from work!

Her expressions/gestures are kind of annoying and the beat is straight up corny but I think she has a decent flow. I don't mind this really.

Maybe my tastes are changing as I'm getting older but I'm really not that interested in really fast rhyming or chops and I'm plain bored with hard-ass posing. I think good hip hop is about sounding and looking cool and having fun. That doesn't necessarily have anything to do with chops or "keeping it real", having "conscious" lyrics or whatever. It's about presence, confident and relaxed flow, and good beats IMO. Funny/entertaining lyrics do help (much better than stupid empty bravado) which is why I think I still dig Eminem 15 years later. That Beastie Boys track is still fun too, maybe just because I haven't heard it in so long.

I liked the first 3 tracks on this page. The rest was kinda geeky, I guess this is what's called back pack hip hop? I used to like Anticon and El-P and shit and now I can't stand this shit. Weird.

Oh, the RiFF RaFF and Bronson guys seem really dorky to me, actually they just seem kind of like dumb meth heads. But I like that beat.

Yeah Sweep... I didn't give that "girl like this" much of a chance because I seen her for the first few seconds and how silly she looked and when she started rhymin' I was like "ENOUGH!"

one of my main problems with a lot of these wiggers is that I have met people just like them irl, and they are some of the dumbest, most trashy people I have ever met in my life.

Yeah, Keith totally saves it, and the beat is competent. Her voice is pleasant, though, and I did enjoy her "kinkier than pubic hair" line quite a bit.

Ugh, you know what's even worse about that granola song? It's catchy as hell. I'm going to go listen to some Herb Alpert as a palate cleanser.
