Looking forward to the clark album actually, he's probably in my top 15 artists or so. If com touch is a sign of what the rest of the albums like, I think we will be pleased. :D

I was reading the comments in Clark's Last.fm profile and my god they were bitchy. Everyone hated Com Touch and the album artwork and were writing paragraphs about it.

Moral of the story, Watmm is mature and constructive?! What a harrowing thought...

Also, can't wait for The Pining! Hoping Clark get's his prog metal on...

Wow, I am surprised to hear that. I can see how some people may be critical of the song but to go so far as writing paragraphs on the artwork - mundane!

Com-touch I found to be simple but gratifying, it had just the right notes and not hidden under fancy DSP fx etc. Straightforward good music that made me feel things...

Anyway I love the artwork. Com Touch is a nice track, but it is not a banger. But let's wait for the full release. Hope it leaks early like Totems Flare did

Am I the only one that doesn't really like the new tracks? Maybe I'm just holding them to too high or a standard (Body Riddle). Or maybe they'll grow on me.

It always takes time. For me Plaid, Autechre, Clark and Aphex take their time to grow.

It always takes time. For me Plaid, Autechre, Clark and Aphex take their time to grow.

I think in general (for me anyways) any artist that is pushing the envelope or changing their style in their own way takes a few listens for me to get used to.

Not to mention Clark albums tend to be more cohesive as a whole versus playing a song here and there,

That new song sounded like it had a bunch of bibio influence in it to me, and they recorded a LOT during the last 3 or 4 years (according to warp).

I wonder if we will see clark influence in the next bibio album as well?

Regardless, can't wait to pound this album on the stereoooooooooooooooooo. :D
