If he doesnt post here, he doesn't have any kind of verified authority.

There's also a second track and both remind me of music currently coming from the Delsin/Rushhour corner. Deep soulful techno with a house twist, and some funk sprinkled on top.

I agree this doesn't sound like the aphex touch. But, who knows how he sounds nowadays...

Why would aphex make generic house dross. There's no twist like you said either, it's pretty stock standard.

If I were him, I would make music that has none of my characteristics and post it online with "lolz derp this is the afex twins" and people would be like "no, stupid that sounds nothing like anything Aphex has ever made. Ever." But secretly it's actual certified Aphex and you'd laugh with an evil gleam in your eye then and flick an ice cream cone out of someone's hand

if he put out the album of my wildest dreams, someone else would perceive it as insulting dreck, and if he put out the album of someone else's wildest dream, maybe i would perceive it as insulting dreck. but what if he put out an album that was nobody's wildest dream, but was just the music that he happened to be interested in making at the time, something new and different and maybe a little tame compared to the rest of his catalog. what would the response be then?? and is that not the more likely release? most importantly, would he deserve to have his creativity disparaged just because it didn't meet the astronomical expectations of the disparate masses?

there's an odd tendency to attack creativity that is not up to one's standards. i think it may originate in the 60s rock revolution by geeks who suddenly had a way to get chicks, they learned to speak about creative quality with a moral connotation, the old paradigm was bad and the new stuff was good. this social device served their movement at a volatile time when there was a lot of psychic energy to feed it, ingraining the baseless idea that a band may rightfully be despised because they're not good enough. in reality, there is no reason to attack any creativity, unless it is somehow harmful or espouses a harmful ideology.

Why not just release those 10 albums he has in stock. I'm sure there's a dream album in there for each fan.

if thats aphex twin, then the tuss is some unknown party who is leagues better.

If it were me and I 'hated the public' I'd either release the entire 10 albums or else hone them to 2-4 albums of the best shit out there, and release it all as Aphex Twin, all at once, just to say fu to all the naysayers & bs reviewers

In order to properly speculate, we need to stick to the facts. This is what I know:

1) RDJ is my favourite musician

2) RDJ Twin is alive

I think what we need is to grow this list, but omit obvious disinformation such as what we get from so-called 'official' media outlets and representation.

As long as we are growing this list, we can use that activity to pass the time. It would be great to create a database as well, we just need names for the columns.
