Weird, I missed that comment for some reason.

But seriously, I truly thought it was all his own work. That's also the part of Aphex's greatness - he makes the tracks of other people

appear in a different, more amazing light. It's actually quite interesting when you think that Aphex made something, and then you realize that he hasn't (Teddy Oggie, for example). It just tells you that we humans are eventually all so similar to each other.

Teddy Oggie will go down in electronic music lore as the track which re-invigorated Rephlex into it's current new era.

I'd love to edit the original post again to include it but it seems like the forum software has been updated or something, because when I go to edit it half of the links disappear now.

I was really hopin the whole 7 minute video was gonna be Manc trac but it only lasts 3.30.... still .... lovely find.

hi everyone, just joined, nice to meet you

anyone know where I can find the best recording of heliosphan live? some recordings are a bit rough

there is sort of an acid version with more kicking beats that he has played live.

also - has he done other track like this live? I think I heard laughable butane bob live once but I'm not sure where (it was a different version I think)

"Whoa! Check it out! RO-BIGH-DUHS!"

sigh.. "That's Ribena.."

Yes, I found this track. I was listening to Laurent Garnier - Destination Planet Dream and it came on while I was asleep, but I woke up long enough to recognize it. I looked it up on Discogs and it is listed as

Underground Resistance - The Final Frontier

manchester track has those tuss filtered vocals. wobbly chords sounds like a tuss track, also, for some reason, probably the bass.

Why are you posting .exe files?

that's a bug on sendspace, when you open the page the first time, it redirects you to a page where you download an .exe-file, which contains a virus. but when you open the page a second time, it's the page you're looking for (i know this because i have accidentally downloaded a virus a while ago when Four Tet gave away TEXT022 :) ) when you download the actual .zip file, there are some recordings of Heliospah Acid :)
