Making RZA burgers again. The one I made last night I used a veggie burger patty (Morning Star brand), slapped on a slice of cheddar, then stacked it with tomato, pickle, sauteed onion, fried egg, and a dab of sambal oelek. Used Eggo buttermilk waffles in lieu of buns.

I still haven't done the egg in burger yet. That's what all the cool kids are doing...

egg in burger is hard. shit gets wet as fuck. i've not cracked eggs yet,

Oh, I forgot to mention. I intentionally break the yolk as soon as I drop it into the frying pan, to prevent a mess later. No need to scramble it though.

egg is very common in borgor here, as well as beetroot and unfortunately pineapple 

Yeah I keep meaning to try the aussie beetroot thing. Colour me intrigued...

beetroot sucks. it’s sweet and has the texture of soft mushy nothing. keep that shit out imo.

Good beetroot is more earthy tasting, and firm

i imagine when you get Fish n chip hambooger with the boot toot init they use the canned shit.

I think that's wrong - pineapple too. Only savoury toppings on a borger.

Give me an egg, give me some pineapple, fuck, throw some chips, or falafel in that borgar.

Throw meat, cheese, and ketchup between two buns and it's pure magic. Actually, it's so magical that you can throw pretty much anything else in between those buns and it's still good.

You would think that, but I've had some abominations that were nowhere near being worthy of being labeled a borgar.

There's a place here (Bernie's Burger Bus) that serves a burger that uses two grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns:
