Mount Kimbie - Cold Spring Fault Less Youth

It's okay. I don't like the King Krule tracks, especially Meter, Pale, Tone. What's with his rhymes? It sounds really uninspired. I really like the first track, but then, I wish it was fleshed out more.

I really like the first track with King Krule and the beginning of the LP. The last half is a bit boring and all these tracks sounding like a remake of Pink Floyd or some 60ies band are not what I want from Mount Kimbie, though it was to be expected from their recent liveshows and the Warp signing...

All in all it's a nice LP, not more, not less, like Iradelphic... I know and love these guys for different stuff...

Can't say I've enjoyed the listen. I don't usually but I streamed it before buying. I'm glad I did because I don't think I'll keep listening to it if I do buy it. It was ok but there's plenty more out there that I'd listen to before this everytime.

Yeah, fuck me that song is bad. Like, really bad, in a WTF were they thinking sort of way.

As for the rest, there's a couple of ok tracks, but overall it's not great really. The lapalux album did this sort of thing a whole lot better IMO.

Really wanting to like it, but can't :(
