Oh, that is fuckin lush. The subtle dopplering is amazing, like a leslie speaker. I guess it was more or less pronounced depending on where in the venue you sat, but right near the front it must have been pretty full on.

Really nice light track too, of course! So wonderfully melancholy, it's like a sad child, playing alone on the swings in the park.

Wonder if that is the same piano as used on Drukqs.. certainly sounds like it.

Also cool, nice to see a further progression to the original, and the visual element of the lasers works really well.

A little bit..

I can't get that piano melody out of my head.

Bit late posting on this but been toooo busy.

First half was dreary and depressing, not my cup of tea at all. I understand he wants to push us and himself but I don't get it (well I do get it but don't like it). I'd love to dress it up but I can't. I remember my initial buzz of adrenaline when it started, but by ten minutes in I was totally deflated.

Half time and a beer and a slice of ginger and orange cake.

Second half was total opposite and gloriously Aphexy mental.

'nuff said.

U can recreate the piano thing at home with a casio keyboard, a plank of wood and some string

triachus

yelling AAAA really straings the voice, and the tiny h really represents the struggle and hardship a vocal chord must endure for yelling AAAA

Thank you lord aphex for gracing us with another measly glimpse of what could have been.

" Last law bearing means that any reformer or Prophet will be a subordinate of the Holy Prophet (saw) and no new Messenger and Prophet with a new religion, book or decree will come after him. Everything from him will be under the banner of Islam only."

piano track is nice but also very much aphex by numbers. Waiting for his next breakthrough.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

that piano thing is probably the coolest fucking thing ive seen in many years.

I just played this back on youtube and almost got goosebumps. It's fucking far out, trippy and haunting. I don't know but some special shit right here. It was the perfect antidote for the painful first half which was an endurance test for me.

All his new orignal peices (Manchester, Metz, this track etc) just seem to be astounding. Whatever he's cooking up in his lab it's working well.

i really wish that i could have been there to see it. i bet it was even more amazing then seeing it on youtube.

first bit was pretty fun, Pendrecki/Shining style horrors. Interval then came back to magical floating remote controlled weight hoisted piano bliss and pendulum swinging lazer playground joys :)

All in all very tasty.

Aphex fanboyism not withstanding... yeah, it was a bit special on the night (and the highlight for me).
