the Season Pass for Star Wars Battlefront is $50, almost as much as the game itself. Maybe the GOTY edition will be a better value, hopefully it will include the EPVII content.

Yeah, I'm boycotting it over the ridiculous pricing, the digital download deluxe edition preorder on psn is fucking $133 over here.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

For digital? That's ridiculous

That's ridiculous for physical too but especially so for digital.

Yeah, that's just the digital edition. I was thinking about getting it after playing the beta, saw the deluxe edition with all the dlc included, saw the price, felt a lot of love for EA.

Pretty much the same here. Loved the demo but I can't justify spending that much money on a single game.

have video games gotten too good?? like, game devs are finally racking their heads around how to make super fun addicting experiences.

metal gear solid 5 is just.. so fucking good. it's making me want to say 'candidate for top 10 best game all time' and this is only after playing likes of bloodborne and dark souls and thinking both were candidates for top 10 best games of all time.

they discovered the secret for making addicting kentucky fried chicken and translated it into crack videogames.

I've finally cummed to videogames again since my hiatus from them when I was like 10 years old. 11 years later and I already got a Steam account with: The Wollf Among Us, Amnesia, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Metro 2033.

Been playing GTA V sporadically lately, after uninstalling about 85 percent of my Steam games I've installed in the past year.

But I'm tempted to get back into Strife from 1996 again, of all things, which is considered the first official FPS-RPG hybrid. It's one of those games that was a commercial flop but garnered a cult following, mainly due to timing and the fact that it used the Doom engine. Just bought the Steam version yesterday.

Anyway, something to keep occupied with til November 10th for FO4. That and working on music.

Hint: All the games you have mentioned are Japanese. This is why I mostly play japanese video games: they make the most challenging and satisfying gameplay. This is what video games are all about. Cut the Hollywood experience crap that Americans try so hard to imitate in video games.

I'd hoped they would do something about the controls for the PS4 release of Super Meat Boy but they're still weirdly floaty. Whatever. Still an okay game overall, in small doses.

Picked up COD Ghosts for cheap and it's pretty fun.

I have one Zelda Tri-Force Heroes for 3DS demo code left for the first person who wants it, no single player mode but 3 player dungeon crawling online during these times, to test out their server load I'm guessing:

"You can also try out online co-op mode during these hours:

10/16: 5 PM - 10 PM PT,

10/17: 5 PM - 10 PM PT,

10/18: 7 AM - 12 PM PT"

PM me if you want the code and maybe we can coordinate.

I've been trying to play "Grey Goo" on steam (free for the weekend) - and when it works, i LOVE it (grew up playing the original C&C games, some of my first vg loves) - but most of the time the game causes graphical glitches that fuck my monitor up even after i close the game and I have to restart the whole friggin shamalan. I really want to get into this game!

in recent memory:

played through Tales of Monkey Island - had me lolling in my chair at times, great game (esp if you like the series)

tomb raider - legend and TR: anniversary. i like em, but man, Anniversary... super tedious sometimes.

vampire: the masquerade - bloodlines -- fun so far but I have a hard time getting into the idea of being a vampire... and i really don't like the source engine, moving around is always like being on ice skates. ffs. glad i checked it out anyway.

GHOST: have you killed Claudius yet
HAMLET: no
GHOST: why
HAMLET: fuck you is why
im going to the cemetery to touch skulls

Yeah Borderlands is awesome in mp.

The Zelda demo is actually entertaining in 3 player mode, although like any dungeon crawler, getting spammed to death gets a little old. I'm worried the novelty will wear off after release, and it will be hard to party up with random partners.

TF2 is probably still good, I dunno. I haven't played it in like 5 years or something, after logging close to 900 hours in-game.

TF2 is still great. Valve rolled out a community-created update just a week ago, with 4 new maps and a bunch of new cosmetics/weapon reskins, if you're into that sorta thing.

And whilst on the subject of TF2, anyone seen the new Steam Link ad yet? I'm definitely keen on grabbing one myself, but I really wanna give that controller a try before indulging.
