What Video Games Are You Currently Playing

Finally beat Shadowrun Returns on Android. Went thru a period this month where I shelved it for a while, but the last few days things were picking up and getting more interesting. Not unlike a mystery/suspense novel towards the end. And the game was literally two dollars. For a mobile game you can't ask for a better deal.

So have a game that plays like the original Fallout but with XCOM's (Firaxis) combat interface. And it's set in what Seattle would be like in a Deus Ex game (Invisible War doesn't count, that one was shit) with Elder Scrolls-like elements thrown in. That's what Shadowrun basically is.

Would play again. Just bought SR: Dragonfall on Google Play and SR: Hong Kong on Steam simultaneously. Reviews look promising for both, but will try Dragonfall next.

my sperg attack has now progressed to the point of trying to get 100% achievements for as many games in my library as I can, and also actually spending time and money on collecting trading cards and crafting badges on Steam  fml.

I'm curious to see how Doom VR is on PS4, ordered it for my brother who is a huge Doom fan.

my biannual playthrough of riven. the best game in all the land. cautiously excited by the starry expanse project but listening to them talk about it seriously hurts my brain because they are such insufferable dorks. in the bad way.

I seem to remember having a bit of a nightmare cracking Riven (the continual CD changes didn't help), but Exile (is that the third one?) I somehow managed to whizz through without any walkthrough hints.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Nintendo to finally announce news about the Animal Crossing mobile game this Wednesday.

NeoGAF forum is down due to allegations of sexual assault against forum admin.

My AC playing days ended with the DS, but I'm sure it will sell shitloads on mobile.

The Mummy Demastered is getting some really good reviews, and is not only a tribute to SNES era Metroidvania games, but has some inventive mechanics as well. For instance, when your character dies, he becomes a zombie, and is marked on the map so you can face off with him, and get your gear back.  Very tempted to play this, so will probly download it tomorrow.  It is $20 however, which for a game based on a shit movie is a little steep IMO.

that dying and turning to a Zombie you can face off against thing has already been done in Zombie U. it was pretty cool though.

that AC game actually looks pretty fully fleshed for a mobile game.

Well, unless you are impatient and want to pay for stuff to craft with... the new AC game is free, and you can earn in-game currency, so no need to spend real money.

i have a feeling this was a game already in development that got a mild rebranding and some funding from the movie studio. it looks like it has almost nothing to do with that movie. really want to play this and dead cells but i know i'm not gonna stop playing t7 and pubg anytime soon so i'll wait for them to be cheaper

im just downloading it now. not had an online FPS game for ages, now that all my counterstrike skill disintegrated.

I haven't downloaded it yet, swamped the last while. Going to DL it tonight and check it out!

Looking forward to it, mostly for the multiplayer stuff, pvp.

It's sort of how they would take a non-movie NES game, change a few sprites, and viola! You'd have the latest SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER: THE GAME.

There is a "Silent Night" mode as well, which excises the blind female's narration, and only uses audible reactions like gasps, screams, etc.
