What Video Games Are You Currently Playing

I liked Alien isolation until I realized I had spent a couple of hours virtually hiding in a closet.

My son wanted to play Quackshot after playing it on his friend's dad's Genesis. So I bought a Raspberry Pi and installed RetroPie on it. It's so great! I played a bunch of Genesis, NES and SNES games this morning before work. I felt like a kid again, sneaking some game time before school.

My GF likes having reminders of the woods and nature as decoration around the house. :)

It's taking some getting used to for me. Don't normally play fp action games or what have you. the games sound effects and environment are definitely closet seeking/hiding driven, atm.

or if you have a pi3 w/built in bluetooth you can use a ds4 or xbox pad pretty easily i hear. i'm stuck w/an old pi2 tho so i either use the buffalo pad or a ds2 hooked up to a usb converter

you can do it, though. I think I've played through the game 5-6 times now. Hard becomes easier when you upgrade your shield.

yeah i'm stuck on shadow on hard atm. man this game only gets better once you get the hang of it, some skills are easily abusable tho, like the air drop and overload. on normal i ended up cheesing the last fight with shields and an endless stream of electras, just shooting away blindly and ending up with like 3 spare minutes, rather anti-climatic.

 

devs are already busy patching tho, button binding is supposed to be around the corner, there's already been some damage balancing. very responsive fellas in steam discussion, cool folks!

 

ps: anyone else notice the aphex button on HER? :)

yep, noticed that button. cool.

 

with Shadow, I had to trick him through the little side passage on the left every now and then to get some breathing room, especially with the vamps constantly draining my power. can't let him get too close.

 

I want more in this series.

yeah i think i got the tactics down (hit n run, deploy shield if possible, regain energy by trashing vampires, rinse n repeat) it's more a thing of getting into the flow by now. but dang that uzi hurts.

yeah unlocking more skills makes this game SIGNIFICANTLY easier. Having a much breezier time getting through now that I have a few things unlocked/upgraded.

Looks like it got the Romero seal of approval

beat sonic mania in three sittings.. it was hard but not too hard . i'd recommend it and playing it portable is the best experience
