An even more depressing thought - there are people here who were in diapers in 1994...

A bit late to this reply, but I have to ask, why is that depressing? You find the fact that young people are interested in RDJ's music and wish to discuss it here depressing? Are you serious? Way to alienate some of the membership base on your own forum, man.

Here's a really depressing thought for ya - people think they are superior simply because they have seniority, and look down on "the kids" when really, by thinking that way, they're acting more immature than your supposedly-average 13-year-old.

Not to put words in his mouth - I think it's more Joyrex feels old that in '94 people here were likkle ones in nappies whilst he was in his formative/adult years - my 'how time flies' kind of thing, not depressing that there's teens here enjoying RDJs music.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

I certainly hope that's the case.

Haha, nice @Ludd & Joyrex!

If I had to pick an age, it would be around 27 or so...

agreed. fuck being 17 lol

being teenager was great. you have no consequences to your actions, your parents are responsible for what you do, everything is great and easy, your biggest concern is school which is pretty easy as well. even chicks are more accesible because they have as much raging hormones as you do. and you can rebuild your reputation later in college/uni/tech/job anyway. there is no way to appreciate it when you are actually there, but from a distance and adult perspective it's a great time. it's kind of an easy rider time of your life,

21. Best time of your life.

That sounds so depressing to hear that I've already passed the "best-time-of-your-life" age. I'm going to say that 50 will be the best time of your life just to have something to look forward to :cerious:

Wait, what does this have to do with afx again?

edit: woohoo, 500 posts in almost 6 years - go watmm!

this is highly relative. some people are miserable at 21. it just depends where your head is at and what is going on in your life. age is irrelevant

Pretty much. I'm happier now (at 28) than I was at 21.. Kinda looking forward to turning 30 soon and not giving a fuck.

If you've already had the best time of your life, then you're not trying hard enough to constantly outdo yourself. Each year should be better than the last.

i think this logic nearly killed brian wilson. jus' sayin'

ill admit, im probably never going to be as open to new people like i was at 21. this does have an effect on my good times.. but its a personal issue i think. I am much more centered and worked out many of my issues that i had at 21 so i have a different quality of life now which makes the good times so much sweeter.
