Couldn't you just take them to a professional print shop and get them to do scans and replications? They probably can't nail the texture of the stock but if you're framing them in glass this sounds like it would be a much cheaper alternative. Also it would let you keep the vinyl sleeves in the Exai packaging where they belong.

For bonus points, post the scans up here if you end up taking my advice.

I guess I could do that myself, but I can't print 12x12. to scan them and have them professionally printed would cost more than the vinyl itself.

Interesting. I'm seriously considering buying the vinyl now but the completion in my will never let it die until I can track down all the vinyl. What are the odds I can find all the rare ones like incunabula etc?

I'm sure you'll be able to find them, I guess it all depends on what quality you want it in and how much you're willing to spend.

here's a tip though - don't touch the silver version of Incunabula. it sounds like absolute shit.

None of their albums are particularly hard to find, at least on discogs. Some of the early EPs tend to go for quite a high price though. I've been trying to track down Garbage and it ain't cheap!

Yeah I just took a look. Seems like all of them are accounted for so I decided to splurge on the vinyl of Exai. After that I'll probably start with Incunabula and pick up the oldest first because logic says they will become more difficult to find at a much faster rate.

I don't even have a turn table, I just want them for the aesthetics. I'll probably get a turntable some day though.

Physical copy finally arrived. Anyone else get ugly splotches on the shiny parts on the cover? Fucking hell, Bleep.

Yeah the cover is a bit mottled in general.

at kinkos im guessing it will cost you maybe $10 max, probably not even that much
