My instinct is that the numbers mean nothing, just all part of the hype building. I'm too cynical these days to be sucked into these kind of PR stunts but living in Edinburgh I'm half tempted to go on a little hunt.

I won't be convinced till there's an official announcement.

Lame question, but is there a twitter hashtag for this decoding effort yet? Might help to organize supra-watmm informations. You know, #bocode or #xxxxxx or whatever

Also, let's remember where they came from too

7 1 7 2 2 8 / [what was this, a YouTube video annotation?]
That is from the CSCH video on the hellinterface YouTube account.

The trail:

  • There is a "ONE GOT FAT" annotation at 4:19 in the Julie And Candy video on AtalantaFugiens' channel.
  • YouTube user nonameno5 has an Everything You Do Is A Balloon video containing footage from One Got Fat (a "1963 bicycle safety movie").
  • The hellinterface account left a comment on that Everything You Do Is A Balloon fan video, containing the URL to a three second clip that looks blank but actually contains footage from a Little House On The Prairie episode.
  • The description of that last video links to the CSCH video with the numbers.
Or something like that.

Too late to edit but I spotted an error about that second set of numbers (or third if you will, in the sequence): the YouTube user for the CSCH video is 'tarekeys', not the hellinterface account.

So I am pretty sure I can still redraw a regular hexagon around those 3 points, will do it tomorrow (got old-school paint here without the hexagon shape....)

Huh. I just tried this.

Based on my expert drawing, it seems the hexagon would be a little squished, not a regular hexagon. On my grids, the horizontal length is 10 squares, and the vertical is 8. So I guess it can still form a decent hexagon, but we'll have to wait for the rest of the codes

Pretty plausible, actually. :boc:

yep, anyone know what any of these conet project numbers mean?

they're having a right laugh at the kids of today.

they could be used for something but they mean sweet feck all.

funny reading all the wasted time on deciphering it.

"wait, they're trying to tell us something, we need to work this out for them, they will be proud of us, we

are the famous five"

pretentious really

So I looked at the back of my blue plastic hexagon and lo and behold, guess what it said...

"6"

This was a vital clue in my hunt for determining who disturbed the pristine peat I had growing in my garden

This clearly meant that the perpetrator liked the number 6 and hid 6 more clues around my house for me to find and try to figure out who he is. This was a sneaky man (or woman) who did this

Next, I decided to go back into my kitchen

I thought to myself...

  Reveal hidden contents
