I conceptualized a fast food chain based on stoner food (called "Stoner's" or something (but using an old man image character, James Stoner, farmer, etc.)), and the whole menu is cheap and the whole menu is pictures. So you go there after smoking and be like, "5,23,6,18, two 7s, and 9", then BAM. But somehow make it so everything doesn't have to be filled with poison. Kind of poison food, but using real ingredients-- example: deep fried cream cheeze poppers with garlic mayo sauce, bbq ground beef burritos pan fried crispy filled with cilantro and tzatziki, smoothie made with vanilla soy milk, granola, marshmallows, casein, and chunks of dark chocolate, etc.

 

When in the fuck did it become required that food become so fake? What is this alien technology anti-human conspiracy shit, that is spreading fake food in a silver (alien tech) bags, killing people from birth and turning them into nothings? Whoever is responsible, I'd like them to step inside my octagon for IDM lazer beatings, cuz they're not helping anything positive.

Aww, that sucks, dyude. One was in Hawaii, but never went to it. Japanese bakeries are also good (but if it was a truly Japanese light style cake, then maybe it tasted how it was supposed to?) . I think there is some inherent quality and preparation difference with Japanese chains/foods, that are actually in Japan. Because Mos Burger is good. However, the most popular burger "mos burger", is like a chili burger and okay. The best is their hot chicken burger and katsu burger, but... Anyway. Fast food in general- meh. p.s. I totally could eat a shitload of fast food burger shit right now.

i just ate some stroganoff that i had squirrelled away in the freezer for a rainy day, now i'm going to have a couple of gently heated scones with butter, strawberry conserve and a glass of blackcurrent tea. Eating these things, saved me from having to get up and dressed properly, drive my car through the painful venom of traffic that flows through the arteries of our city, then to wait behind an unruly and judgemental line of overstuffed school children (given the time of day), all to be served food that wasn't at it's best when it was served to me, and will be far past it, by the time i get it home. Thanks be to that stroganoff, for it saved me from the menace to a peaceable life that is fast food.

I'm sure the bakeries over there are better peace, they wouldn't just look good, but also taste fab. ;-] (maybe)

lol i've been sick the last three days, and have still been showing up. I should get one of those government jobs, sounds cush. (of course many of my co-workers probably wouldn't have shown up, and there's someone on holiday so finding someone to replace me would have been impossible, so whatever, enjoy your day off. ;-]

I know the combos discussion is over, but I just thought I'd stroll past this thread and say that a few years ago, fred mcgriff and I had an international snack exchange and among his items was a packet of combos (pizza flavour). The bag weighed like 2kg or something, but holy shit did I ever get super stoned and plow through a bunch of them in one sitting. Amazing.

Hey, oporto is awesome! Well, at least their burgers/wraps are, anyway. I've never tried the 'classic' style chicken that they have on offer. But I prefer their burgers to nando's, even though nando's burgers are more wholesome looking.

Hey, oporto is awesome! Well, at least their burgers/wraps are, anyway. I've never tried the 'classic' style chicken that they have on offer. But I prefer their burgers to nando's, even though nando's burgers are more wholesome looking.

wholesome is code for boring, i agree. couple of thin peices of fried meat with a little chilli sauce wiped on, stuffed in between the halves of a bland roll, with one lettuce leaf; "there you go bitches, now you be lording it over the plebs".

Gonna have a nandos tonight - they have a surprisingly good selection of vegetarian stuff - the beanie patty in particular is delicious - and the veggie patty is vegan if you have vegans in your life

personally id like to agree with this sentiment, but i dont get to pay rent or afford healthcare if i take a scheduled day off. sickness around food it is.

I dunno, maybe it sounds crazy, but perhaps some sort of medical coverage should be provided by the hiring company. Otherwise, fuck you, we gotta eat, we gotta not die, we are working with food while having the flu.
