There are no Nandos in the US except for in and around the Capital, I guess so tourists and former CIA operatives can get their fixes?

 

 

 

I've seen several Nandos here in DC. Haven't tried it, but now I'm almost curious enough.

SCREW U BURGER KING. Absolutely the lamest most disgusting burger on the planet. All fast food that is. My final judgement? NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER again. Disgusting on how you have the nerve to give me a half dollar size 1/16" inch thick rat meat patty and call it edible and sustainable. Dammit! You uncovered my secret identity of a teenage female grime MC.

Their crispy tacos are the best low class corporate fast food tacos and their whoppers are insanely good if you ask me. But yea their value burgers are fucking super lame and unsatisfying. All of their burgers are way over priced. But, when I'm feeling like posioning myself I chose Burger King over McDonalds, Jack In The Box, Wendy's.

I probably haven't had Carls Jr. for like 7 years. They are all on the other side of town. But, I remember pretty well that I had some burgers there that blew my roof off more than any other shitty corporate chain except for Burger King.

Carl's Jr. is the same chain as Hardees; is disgusting. Burger King is reprehensible. McDonalds feels like salt water infused ersatz food and I can't even think about it without feeling leaden in my stomach.

 

Wendy's never seemed too offensive to me, and their burgers are kind of flavorful. I've heard there's a lot of variation in quality at Wendy's restaurants, more than other chains, because of the way the franchises are managed. I dunno, but a good Wendy's isn't so gross, and I grew up near a good one. The way overpraised in-n-out burger isn't significantly better than a good wendy's burger, imo. Both taste like fast food.

 

Fast food is horrible, obviously, but sometimes you're on the road or sommat and it can't be helped. I'd pick a Wendy's over the other national chains if I had to. IN MY FUCKING OPINION.

Wendy's is definitely high quality, if not the highest. I don't eat fast food for what feels like the most natural quality food. It's like smoking a cigarette, somewhere between masochistic and gluttonous. 9 times out of 10 I only want to eat fast food is when it's really late and the only places that are open are Taco Bell, Del Taco, Burger King and Jack In The Box.

We used to have Wendys here. Then they went away. I miss them.

I'm trying to cut down on grains, especially wheat. Feeling a lot better and the no-bun trick works well at places that have quality meat. Carl's Jr is not such a place.

I like how the instructional videos show you how to remove all the juice from burgers, leaving you with a dry gray squaree.
