i dont get why the dude gets almost twice as much time as the women. i get that words like force of corruption are thrown at him, but words like 'maternal instinct' are used to describe moms, all the time. and that maternal instinct is supposed to be this hugely strong bond. the judge said that what the women did to their own kids was a betrayal, and i think asked what could be more of a betrayal. i couldn't agree more. in my mind, the idea of someone being a corrupting factor, doesn't alleviate someone else from their free will to make their own decisions. and it sure as hell doesn't diminish the fact that these women had obligations to their kids, above and beyond anyone else, and they completely and utterly betrayed what may be the most important type of bond that exists between any people. maternal instinct should include being cautious of strange dudes, and not going along with crazy shit that those dudes propose, even if he is some psuedo famous guy in some shitty band.

imo, the women should get 2-3 times the sentence as him, because to me, what they did is more heinous than even what he did. they went against everything they are supposed to be for their kids, to appease some freakshow. and looking at shit they said to him, there's no way they weren't already plenty messed up before this guy came into their lives, so it's not like he corrupted entirely innocent girls. but that's all moot because imo they all should get life anyway.

Evil is real. It's beyond anything.

good post as usual [edit: at Mr. E]. I consider stealing a child's innocence to be the worst and most unforgivable crime, moreso even than murder. I still can't tell what makes this guy's crime so unusually heinous though, compared to other child sex abuse cases. From what I read, it seems what happened was: a) they said a lot of sick shit; b) some mom stuck her finger in her baby's vagina; c) some mom enacted oral sex on her baby boy; d) this d-bag tried to stick his dick in some baby's ass. I can't tell if the judge was just being polite and meant he actually succeeded in assfucking the baby. Assuming he didn't, though, it actually makes his actions less horrific than the pedos who do succeed in fucking infants/small children, causing severe internal damage and often death, and most certainly lifelong trauma and scarring.

I think most people are just offended by what they said to each other, but really, I don't care what people say, just what they do. On that count this case seems much less terrible than what I've read about many times before.

Not that they all shouldn't get life, that'd be fine with me. The idea of these kids growing up with their moms gives me a cold shiver.

If he were in american prison the death penalty would not be necessary as the inmates would deal with him swiftly.

When I was younger I was completely against the death penalty, from a christian perspective.

But having grown older I don't know. Some things are deserving of death.

This is probably life though. He wasn't a murderer, not yet anyway.

The actual court papers were posted on reddit earlier today, and holy fuck do I wish I hadn't read it, truly fucking horrible and rage inducing. This guy is among the biggest pieces of shit I've ever read about. I felt sick reading through some of the actual things he did (including but not limited to attempting to rape an infant). Fuck this guy, I hope he dies a slow violent death at the hands of other inmates.

other inmates who may be murders/rapists themselves shouldn't be considered as part of justice, imo

i've seen like prison docus and such where these hardened criminals in there talk about how much they hate pedos and how if one comes in, 'its on' or whatever, as if they have this strong moral belief about this type of thing.

most likely, it just gives them a way to feel better about themselves and whatever horrible shit they did to get in there. an asshole serial rapist of grown women, who is in prison, and shanks some pedo, does not score points with me. but they clearly think it scores points with someone. maybe other prisoners, maybe the dude asking questions or the guy holding the camera pointed at them for the prison documentary, or the people on the outside who watch it. and with plenty of people i'm sure it does score points. not with me.

it's like 'oh look, these guys are HARD, theyre ROUGH and RUGGED, but they will not hesitate to stab a pedo to make me think they really arent so bad after all, and that makes me think that maybe, just maybe... they really aren't so bad after all' fuck that. the most violent, shankingest dudes in the pen were probably among the worst ppl on the outside and the worst offenders, and so if getting beat up or shanked in prison is part of the punishment, it should also be them getting shanked as well. it's not like prison violence is evenly administered according to how bad your crime was that got you in there.

'bubba' the rapist, who just so happens to have won the genetic lottery by getting genes that make him grow fucking huge, shouldn't be considered part of the punishment. just because that guy is big doesn't mean he should get free ass tossed to him on top of his free room and board and benefits. for him it's a bonus. he prob raped grown women to get thrown in there, now ppl want to use him to administer rapings to pedos as if that makes sense somehow. for him though, that's a reward. maybe he deserves to get raped himself? but because he's big, no. he gets to be the raper, not the rapee. this is why prisons are so fucked up and keep churning out criminals who are worse than when they went in. no politician will ever win office on the vehicle of prison reform, even though chances are that if prison were safer for everyone, society would benefit in the long run all around. because the idea of rape and stabbings being part of the punishment, which then implies that its ok that that goes on, is common as fuck. so why 'fix' it if it's not broken?

I don't think convicts who kill pedo convicts do so to win points with the general public. My guess is that mindset (assuming it is truly widely disseminated and not just a Hollywood fiction) stems from the fact that many of the cons probably suffered some kind of child abuse themselves (sexual or otherwise). So they have a personal reason to go after pedos.

I thought rapists in general, not just paedophiles, were targets for the convicts.

lol obel, true enough. i even feel guilty now because i've been avoiding this thread for ages but today finally checked it to make sure it hadn't gotten out of hand. Seems more a sad slow burn and i'd rather it buggered off as well.

ahh well. Once he goes to prison i suppose those that are intrested wil finally have had their fill. (no offence to those that are keen in this case, each to their own).
