When he went down clutching his face after taking chunk out of matey's shoulder, was he trying to con the ref into thinking he had been fouled, or did he just realise what a massive bellend he is and was shame-faced/fearfeul of the repercussions of what he just did?

It was a combo of both those things. It was his instinctive reaction to realizing he'd messed up by taking one last bite at the cherry, so he was trying to distract + con the referee. It was more cringeworthy than Rivaldo's antics all those years ago, because he was trying to dig himself out of a hole. His teeth are dragging him down. If they were to be filed down to little stubs it would eliminate the nasty part of his game. They are big stupid teeth and as long as they are there, like a teething baby, he will always try and nuzzle down on something. If he was a dog he woulda been put down, filing down his teeth seems like a more humane solution, it's just a case of getting him to agree to it.

He's a talented player but my god what a fucking cunt. He fucking bit a player then dove. I mean I am a career detractor of Italy's defensive style and historic diving (that said, I enjoyed their effort against England) but that was clearly a foul and I could never even dare to relish in their loss.

I have no problem with the handball. Does nothing to compromise the sport what the fuck ever - you do what it takes to win. But biting someone is just fucking weird and is dangerous because of the possibility of disease transmission.

Also the US-Portugal game was pretty meh I thought, but I seem to be in the minority.

Yeah, during the last USA game, the people in the pub I was at kept breaking out with USA chants when we scored. I was rooting for the US too, but declined to take part in the chants... Just creepy to me.
