Anyways classic German efficiency on display. The lack of a real midfield and Fred doing nothing that resembles playing football really were the killers.

I'm not Brazilian, but I feel a little sick for them. I can't imagine how humiliating that must have been for them, and how depressing for the fans. It's going to take something for some of these players to get over this.

Luiz and Marcelo though. What was Scolari thinking not taking them off at half-time? Or at least telling Luiz to stop bombing forward. I just don't understand it. It could have been 9 or 10 easily. In the end there was almost a degree of fatalism to it.

Luiz is just an awful defender, he has qualities going forward, but I can't believe PSG wanted to pay so much money for him.

I don't feel sorry for Brazil at all because they shouldn't play in semifinals in the first place. If you watched their previous matches you know.

I can bet the Germans wouldn't win easily 7:1 with Mexico, Chile, Croatia or Colombia tonight.

It's football! And it's not just a game, it's serious business.

The way the fans and players has acted throughout the tournament, it's more than just football to them.

Which indeed is pretty damn stupid tbh. I'm all for passion, but at times it just got a bit silly. They have pretty much been crying non-stop ever since it started.

It is silly of course. But they will feel it nonetheless.

I enjoyed that very much and can't imagine a better way for Brazil to understand how truly shit their team was than that shellacking. Skipped their way through on bad calls and luck. Each game revealed more cracks in the system but the "spirit" of the team and country seemed to catch headlines. Hopefully now they'll realize they aren't actually god's gift to football and start caring about things like.... U know, tactics and leadership. Utterly perfect

Luiz should also have been sent off at least twice in the match. Might have helped them
