I have waited so long for this, sometimes it is my reason to live.. just waitin and wanting a new Aphex release.
Have listen so much to that manchester track on youtube and now it's finally coming out in studio version.

My dream is coming true,

id pay fifteen usd just for the manchester track. this is a bargain

I hope WARP gives us a good quality vinyl pressing of SYRO. Sometimes the sound quality of vinyl releases on WARP are crap.

It's probably been mentioned before, but the extra track is also an iTunes bonus track. Wikipedia says "Japan and iTunes bonus track"

I wouldn't necessarily take whatever you read on Wikipedia as gold, but that sentence is right, at least - it's the same as with all BRC editions of Warp releases (Autechre, Bibio, Plaid, etc.).

From what I can see on itunes it's still a Japan only bonus track (shows up on the Syro itunes pre-order from Japan, but not the UK itunes preorder version.

Since I seem to have gotten some interest here and irl, I'll pursue the club for a bay area release playback. My connection hasn't talked to the owner (Mighty) in a few years, so fingers crossed. Would people be wiling to drop $10?

If it doesn't work out, I'd be game to have some people over (or go elsewhere if someone has a better system).

Interesting, I've always wondered if AFX would delve into the mathematic side of music. Hopefully he'll incorporate some techniques that other artists have used in the past, like Tool.

I've seen lots of videos of the Singapore show, is the Singapore track the one with the Amen?

That's the only track I've not heard anywhere else
