They link to a CBS news video which repeats everything in their article so it's legit. Now whilst there are so many demos going on that accidental traffic incidents are likely to occur, the officers have stated that this was a targeted attack and that protesters were chanting for the driver to run over the officer again. These people are despicable, so much misdirected anger.

A daughter of a police officer who slowed her car down to record police kicking a man on the side of the road was violently yanked out of her car, tased, called a “dumb bitch” and handcuffed after they accused her of striking officers with her car.

Baltimore police then deleted her footage while they jailed her on charges of assaulting two officers.

But those charges were dropped after she discovered the footage had been saved through an app on her phone, which is not named in the Baltimore Sun article.

WATMM™ What would you call it if an officer pulled you from a vehicle, tasered, cuffed, arrested, verbally abused you, and charged you with a crime you didn't commit under a false pretense? The man was obviously suffering from some kind of medical problem. The woman felt compelled to video tape. If the video was titled, "dinosaurs attack and kill a flying monkey" it wouldn't make a difference about what the content is displaying. I would love to meet you so that I might understand why you do what you do.

so what can we actually know with certainty:

1. she stopped to record the arrest in the middle of the road. she claims she saw some beating. we can't know whether it happened just because she says so.

2. she claims her video was deleted by the cops - no proof.

3. police says she tried to accelerate towards one of the officers, could be an accident, but that's something that would definitely get the police aggro so there's a reasonable cause for arrest. that probably happens at 1:25 in the video because until then the cops were reasonably calm.

4. she's clearly resisting arrest as can be heard from the video.

5. she clearly is dumb, that's something that can be inferred from her manner of speaking on the video and her looks. that makes her story even less credible.

I'm being civil firstly. Secondly, I wouldn't call his last addition to the thread civil. I totally get that sometimes things get heated and people are less than polite to each other. I understand this happens, and I don't like heavy-handed administrating, but Eugene consistently goes into threads, and says things that are obviously inflammatory, and intentionally nit picky and stupid. I know this, because he's not stupid. So, he's either A) got some kind of issue like autism or B) intentionally inflammatory. No, I don't care that he disagrees. As insane as I think it is for him to hold the belief that this woman deserved to be called a dumb bitch. As much as I disagree that being pulled from your car, tasered, arrested on false pretenses, and verbally abused can be called being "beaten". I do care that I know he is trolling a lot of the time when he does this type of crap in threads. I reported him for being intentionally inflammatory, which is flame bating, which he obviously does a lot.

false what tenses, I mean i've watched enough cops to know that with the number of police around at the start of the video that there had been a serious incident like a fight or a chase or something and they'd finally collared their guy, then this woman parks her car in the middle of the street, when instructed to pull over instead drives towards an officer, gets pulled out of the car, resists arrest and gets tazed. shit happens. there is no footage of the guy getting attacked only the word of this obviously shifty and probably on something woman.

You have to remember that police have to deal with societies dregs on an ongoing basis, and most of these dregs would swear on the life of their mothers that they had done nothing wrong and it's all somebodies else's fault and they know nothing, and 'ahh, ahh, ahh, get those cuffs off me' and whatever other low iQ attempt at trying to release themselves from the situation they put themselves in. Imagine the pressure of not only dealing with this shit night after night, but then having the public on your arse and on the side of the perps.

juries out on that, but i lean towards her being a douche, especially after her likely completely false accusations about the officers behaviour towards the man that they were arresting. But we'll see. I'm not as determined about this as i am sure about darren wilson's innocence. Because in this case there's so little to go on, so neither side can be making sweeping claims as to knowledge of what actually occurred. Certainly shouldn't be placed front and centre in the thread as some cogent example to pad out a sentiment that someone would have in this thread.
