Seeing them at a concert hall during Dekmantel I'd have to disagree. The sets from the US dates that have been posted sound like pop music by comparison; they presented an extremely abstract version of this set there.

I really hope there is a release based on the sets. Especially the US variations are very creative and fresh. Much better than the Krakow set which was obviously not fleshed out yet. There is also much more rhythmic backbone to it now which I really like.

And some of the textures and basslines are just amazing.

It was cool hearing the Philly set again, thanks for that. That one really bassy tune from 19:30-22:ish really lit up the whole fucking system at Union Transfer. That one especially stuck out in my memory, and I heard it afterwards in the Bloc recording but was thinking "I remember this being longer and much more awesome in Philly". Lo and behold, it was.

agreed. when he got on after cygnus' set in boston he was playing some incredible stuff (and not too many were chattering, unlike chicago)

seriously he was playing some fucking great tunes in chi. i would love to find out who/what he was playing. his sets were impeccable.
