When is the badger going to be released?

Can Joyrex confirm what this was? This is the last great WATMM mystery. It needs to be solved. I don't want to die without closure.

Always loved the myth of the Aphex Badger

I'd be over the moon if it appeared in an official context, I'd also be happy if the Aphex Badger sank into nothing but watmm mythical obscurity

I guess The Legend Of The Aphex Badger, is out of our hands

but it would be cool if The Aphex Badger legend rises

I guess it's better for the imagination to guess at what it is than... whatever it actually is. 

i thought the badger image eventually led to syro, but then the start date of this thread is after syro release..  Was this thread started after the mythology? or was the badger a strictly post-syro phenomenon?  trynna get my lore str8 m9

Badger is first in the WATMM Extended Universe chronology before Syro. Well, more specifically concurrent with the albums announcement. I'm really happy the WEU brought back the Aphex Twins after the property was put on hiatus. Newer artists are great but Aphex Twins were there at the start, kinda like how they will bring back Iron Man in 2032 after he retires after Endgame.

The real question is: Who created the Badger image, and why go through such an effort?

Joyrex, I don't want to know what this all is. It doesn't interest me. It never did. I was just pretending the whole time. So nothing you say could surprise me. So you know if you have something to get off your chest now is the time. Because I don't care, but you know I'll listen.. I guess... if I must.

I still assume it’s the cover artwork for these Aphex logo stencils. Maybe they will resurface in the store at one point

Full disclosure:

• I didn't create the Badger image
• I don't (really) know who created it, or why
• It is interesting as it appears to be a scan of a printed (like on a commercial printer) document - these can be faked, but again why go through such efforts?
• It also appears to be shrink-wrapped, again indicating a commercially-produced product vs a "photoshop" fake/job.
• The above may all be true or another ruse
