that's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, the uk limit on inheritance tax is £350k IIRC, you pay 40% over that.

I don't know more than that, but that's how Cameron is connected. But please, I am sure Cameron has his own arrangements, he's just using another one of the other firms to weasel away money.

Also, we should elect politicians who are happy to have every aspect of their live's scrutinized...if you are in a unique position of power such as that, society should have rigorous safeguards against corruption, and if you're a shady dude looking to cash in on your influence, we shouldn't even make it past the door...

It's not controversial because the PRIME MINISTER didn't do it, and also because there's nothing surprising about any of this, and it all seems perfectly legal.

Not saying that Cameron isn't a cunt, but only in a very obvious and non-controversial kind of way.

It may be legal, but some of us consider it highly immoral. Like most of what goes down in the wonderful world of global finance. Honestly, we all knew about this sort of thing before they blew the lid on this particular law firm didn't we? There are countless more, as far as I can tell it's how things are done.

But it's nice to know who does what anyway.

The pro-Putin, pro-Snowden journalists (I won't mention any names, but...) are having trouble dealing with their current cognitive-dissonance...they're either ignoring Putin's being implicated or calling it Cold War Paranoia 2: Electric Boogaloo on the part of the West

If you're gonna be pro-Putin, at least concede his flaws, right? Like, his treatment of journalists, LGBT, rigging elections, freedom of speech, and on and on for days....you should't call yourself a journalist if you can't even get the easy stuff right
