sometimes when I'm about to fall asleep I think of what at the moment seems like a very cool idea and I jot it down on a piece of paper. There hasn't been a single instance of me reading that idea back in the morning and not thinking it was actually pretty stupid

i'd be pretty happy with life if someone could go back and remove Mimi Rogers from the half dozen or so X-Files episodes that she's in.. really.. i mean.. she ruins the vibe.. like if you tried to straighten sylvester stalone's face and put a whig on it.. you'd have Mimi Rogers.

99% of posts I am about to post I delete, as I consider them pointless. This one almost didn't make it either.

Humans are a main factor of warming true, but hey anything that can happen will right? Maybe if we make it out of here the next planet could be treated a lot better, but for better or worse the earth spewd us out - and in turn we bent her over to show her she's not that special coz there's like another 3 billion billion billion stars or what ever the exact number is. The whole thing about global warming and trying to better it is so futile.

Which is kinda my point: remember when everyone was shitting themselves about that? Most people have forgotten, or think it's solved. Their brains forget the potential disasters of yesteryear and move onto other ones daily, each one worst than the last. Or what about SARS? The Millennium Bug? The death of all the honey bees, and the end of Mother Nature? The world ends every day, according to some. Yet...never does.

 

No matter how bad the last bad thing was, there's new bad things to displace them. Whether or not they're genuine concerns or should remain things to be concerned about is rarely talked of.

It's just weirder, not worse. All that post-9/11 USA foreign policy war crimes or whatev, very recent history, seems almost forgotten already.

It's more terrible now because it's happening to the white man.
