Personally I loved the getting squished element to it all, it wasn't too rowdy at all, all good natured fun!

So.... no confirmed recordings then? I wish I'd sorted some gear out, but I couldn't bear to stand still and not dance in order to get a good tape. Sorry internet

wicked night!! was well worth the trip from iceland (4 flights total, to london, manchester & back)

crowd was wild, haha. felt like a crazy rock concert during afx's set. the 3 robot fitness guys were a great laugh

I dunno, just had another memory its got like a series of short samples which sounds like someone shouting/grunting/growling, on the break. Could just be a really hard dirty drum sample. Im not really much help

Well what a fucking night that was!! Just wish I could remember a bit more about what happened...

AFX played probably the hardest set I've ever seen him do. Frankly the mash pit stuff was doing my head in and the rather gay/hardman croud made me paranoid! So all in all it was a top night ;-)

Manchester is a bloody long way from Essex and as my mate said we won't be gooing back in a hurry....

just remembered a conversation I had in the queue for the cloakroom which made me think of watmm, almost like someone from watmm knew I was an electronic music geek and was just fucking with me

Scottish guy: Hi hows it going, you up for it?

Me: Yeah Im a big aphex fan, what about you

SG: Yeah I heard Aphex Twins are amazing, apparently they're properly crazy

Me: chuckle nervously

SG: Only really heard one tune though you know that one with all the crazy kids

Me: Probably come to daddy

SG: Yeah thats it really hope they drop it tonight. Whats his other stuff like?

Me: Lots of different stuff, bit of acid maybe, hard to tell what he'll play

SG: Just as long as he plays some drum and bass, coz I'm well fucked!

Me: o look we're at the front (push past last few remaining people and escape asap)
