Guest cet303
errrrrr Quote from the Mancester Evening News..... "For those of you who haven't been to the Warehouse Project at this year's venue let me explain the set up. The location of an underground car park near Piccadilly is well suited to this kind of event and as you would expect there are portaloos instead of indoor toilets, garden furniture converts one corner into a 'chill out' area, complete with garden benches sponsored by Manchester's very own Bench clothing and the VIP area is basically a few car park spaces sectioned off. However the organisers for what ever reason seem to have forgotten to install a decent sound system for this night, either that or they ran out of speakers, and it has a massive effect on the sound quality of all the acts unless you are stood right at the front of the stage." shit. Guest cet303
I went to the UR/Mills one and it sounded pretty decent. It'll be fucking packed. You might be hard pushed to get into the main bit. BTW they have sniffer dogs on the door. Just so you know. hmmm Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/23900-afx-in-a-warehouse-in-manchester/page/6/#findComment-602720 Share on other sites

Guest Grizz
My mate went to the 20 years of Acid House and didn't have any problems at all, he said it sounded decent as well but hes not the best source for sound quality issues Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/23900-afx-in-a-warehouse-in-manchester/page/6/#findComment-602983 Share on other sites
stripeyhat
I think it's luck of the draw if they have sniffer dogs. Mate of mine saw some there a couple of weeks ago but other people who've gone on different nights said they didn't see any. My sister went the other week and didn't have any complaints about the sound. She did say (like cet also did) that the main bit is narrow so will be rammed. Wouldnt reccomend smoking a shit load before you go in - it does end at 5am... on the other hand I hear you can smoke inside easily enough. Why not eat some before you go in..... Guest Kenneth172
If anyone else wants to meet up for a drink beforehand, I'll be in the Bulls' Head. Doors open for the gig at 9pm don't they? So call it 8:30 in the Bull's Head?
