I was afraid of this. But that's because Vibert's solo sets are fucking amazing.

Is there a night happening somewhere that Vibert doesnt play? I can only hope for some more apocalyptic weather in the hope he doesnt turn up.

yeah sorry.. just hard to impress when you've got nights like that on all the time. Need something a little bit unique nowadays, and nothiing on that lineup I haven't heard many times.

e.g. tortoise performing millions now living will never die last year with clark doing his first showing of body riddle. Now that was something to get excited about!

Seen them all so many times and while they're all good and aphex and vibert especially are amazing, I never really liked vibert and the ragga twins, and you always have to wonder whether aphex will actually turn up or justt put out something shit because he cant be arsed. Needed an autechre or something to shore it up a bit!

Fair play if you've seen Aphex before, I have a few times, but he hardly ever plays out anymore. He does what, 3 publicly announced gigs a year if we're lucky? The fact he's playing, without wanting to be too fanboy, is special in itself

Fair play if you've seen Aphex before, I have a few times, but he hardly ever plays out anymore. He does what, 3 publicly announced gigs a year if we're lucky? The fact he's playing, without wanting to be too fanboy, is special in itself

I think the reason he hardly ever plays out is because he's not really into it anymore, and when I've seen him that shows (though obviously still amazing). Though I prefer aphex's studio work, I'd choose seeing Squarepusher or Autechre 9 times out of 10 over aphex.

luke will be performing mainly on his own.. but will be joined by the ragga twins toward the end of the set..

i'm not a major fan of the ragga twins but it'll work on the night.
