Will definitely do some video and the audio quality is pretty decent.

I did that last weekend, Funktion 1 rig's always deliver a decent recorded sound in a closed environment.

I wont however be holding my camera up for the duration of the set mind.

Will try and nail at least 20-30 minutes though.

just spoken to the venue actually, they've said recording is 'not allowed' and they're tied in with the contracts signed with the artists themselves, clearance for the tracks played during the set bla bla bla.

It doesn't mention this anywhere on the website as far as i can tell though.

I've got a mate that lend me a minidisc set up so we'll see. I'll keep an eye out for a guy with a camera Cet mate

Dude, I'd just try and stealth your gear in. I would of thought it'll be really unlikely the sound guy will let you patch from the board. A decent lossless audience recording would be better than nothing, being subtle with your shit will go a long way :)

Cheers for taping!

Aphex now has hair like my dad!!!

Main surprises - he played some Billy Childish (I think) and a few dubstep tunes, one of them sounded a little Aphexy

He also had 3 muscle men in Aphex shirts gurning at the crowd at certain points, it was fucking awesome. If you weren't there, you missed out sucka

Those Gurners were fucking mint hahaha

Yeah 3.80 for a bud rip off only had about 3 cans

Good night indeed!

My mate says he saw Squarepusher walkin' about near the end.

Great night though, the electronic music bouncers were class.

Brilliant night last night. The meat head face pullers were a laff, as was the crowd pushing and pulling - excellent fun although someone tried to tear my woolen cardigan. Too many sweaty basts though for my liking and lovers trying to get it on amidst all the chaos when Aphex was reaching a climax was just pointless and silly, although mildy entertaining. AFX sporting a new short haircut and lookingly decidedly more confident and assertive than previous occasions I've seen him live, maybe it was cos his missus was there serving him drinks. There was some Tuss in his set, some new tracks were played and can someone tell me - was the intro at the start of the set off a Jane Fonda workout vid or something? Thought it was educational. The price of a can of Bud was frankly daylight robbery. Seems like AFX is back on form, just hope it isn't two or three years down the line when the new tracks he played get released. New album must be due soon...

Cheers for the videos, I didn't manage to see much of Aphex as I was wandering aimlessly trying to avoid getting squished. And I was so full of a cold that my ears weren't working properly. Arse, I'd been looking forward to it for so long and I just wish I could go back and watch again without not being able to hear right!

It's too orangey for crows!!!
