I just got the Turning Dragon shirt. If anyone wants to make me an offer, let me know.

I've been thinking about this but warpmart doesnt have a very clear picture of it. Could you take a pic of it?

I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

I'm actually gonna return it because it fits a bit large on me. Gonna trade it in for a Small. The shirt looks exactly as it does on the Warp site. I'll post some pics in a bit

I've listened to this some more, and it basically is the best at what it is trying to do. I can't quite put my finger on that.

Each track really has an adjective ending with y

New Year Storm is bouncy,

Volcan Veins is sexy,

Truncation Horn is funky

For Wolves Crew is crazy,

Violenl is groovy,

Gaskarth / Cyrk Dedication is lonely,

Ache of the North is scary,

Mercy Sines is lovely,

Hot May Slides is pretty,

Beg is filthy,

Penultimate Persian is sirj204j13t9h20241241

Penultimate Persian is really the only decent thing on this album. its perfect for the end of my run when i want to die. put this on and suddenly i'm linford fucking christie

You don't like Ache of the North? :undecided:

  • 4 months later...

Violenl+Gaskarth+Ache of the North is one of the most amazing groupings of electronic tracks on an album methinks....

What does your music mean to you?

Clark: …Everything really…I certainly think I would be a bit wrong if I didn’t have it...

What’s the best thing about what you do?

Clark: (laughs)…That’s a good question. Just being able to get up on a Monday morning and do what I love doing, without anyone telling me what I have to do.

…and the worst thing?

Clark: …The caffeine balance I think…having panic attacks when you hear certain drones…

this album pretty muched iced whatever potential clark had in becoming an imporant player in the electronic music world going forward. what a fucking letdown.

This is the first time I agree with Fred McGriff regarding an electronic music statement.

a friend put this album on last saturday, first time i've heard clark

i like it -- it's like the sound has holes burnt through it, rusted, bits falling off... fucking cool...

orly? you havent heard clarence park and ETBOY?

you really should

industrial noise rave. parts remind me of download iii or noise unit, but then there are electronic music melodies mixed in too. i think its pretty good, and at parts really good and lush, but there are some dry parts also.

one thing is for sure, you can't say this one sounds too much like aphex.

some of his synths/pads/melodies sound kinda aphex.... somehow also reminded me of caustic window with upgraded tech... rhythmically maybe? dunno

at the same time, his percussion sounds in general, some other melodies remind me of BOC...

then there's the industral dark

confusing sub-bass

I think its fair to say Clark has his own personal sound now without having to relate it to anyone else. He's pretty much the only one going who's actually making decent stuff in electronic music I kinda feel now. But I've become a bit bored and disillusioned with any new material that's been released, even wisps :(

Someone please tell me why this album is shit other than "lol Clark is loud."
